Surely Apple CarPlay fixes this? I use Siri connected through Bluetooth in the car for messaging and calls. Never had an issue using Siri and ACP in previous non-Tesla cars. Elon and Apple not get along?

Ah ok. I’ve tweaked the bottom set of feet which made no difference at all. So the upper ones move too?

Did you use this gummi stuff or the autoglym gear?

Did the push, yup that’s the noise. So it’s those seals down the sides of the tailgate. You wouldn’t think something so obscure could cause so much racket!

SC apps now just seem a massive chew on. Just requested one there and they want the car in but not going to provide a loaner! Fair enough if they only want it an hour or so and I can sit in the wasting room but if they’re taking it in for the day or more, then that’s a different story

Is that AG Vinyl and Rubber? Just been on a detailing forum, some on there suggesting Gummi Pfledge is better. AG always been good stuff for me like.

Hi everyone, just posted something about this yesterday. My MYLR23 is China build and defo has a horrible creak coming from the rear. I thought it sounded like it was coming from the plastic trim cos I climbed in the back to check whilst the mrs drove it. Creak only happens over uneven surfaces.

Where’s the seals? Not trying to be funny, just don’t know a lot about cars at all but I do have this creaking issue from the back and it’s driving me crazy (no pun intended)

Right, so feet out and not in like I’ve done

Tightened the feet on the back of the hatch as far as they’ll go, dunno if that’ll help. Had a bit play with the hydraulic arms either side too.

It’s a plastic creak type noise for sure, defo not metal on metal or anything like that.

I used Velcro method on previous M3 too but both front and rear ends were stuck straight to bodywork. Even with the curvature in the front, the Velcro still kept the plate on for 3 years with no issues.

Paid quite a bit for 3M tape (can’t recall the product number), tried that and fell off after a few hours! This is after I’d made sure to wipe the plastic down with alcohol rub.
