Haha, yeah, I noticed. Crazy. It's IDENTICAL but much cheaper. I was just wondering because I bought some cheap carbon fiber window switch covers and they didn't fit. I have now bought some proper carbon fiber ones.

Derp. My 2013 S85 (2020.46.6.11) just showed "please wait while vehicle systems power on" as well as "center display unavailable". The MCU was black but I did a hard restart and it came right back and fuctions beautifully. Must be a software glitch since it's hitting all of us.

If you only have this creaking noise they won't replace the DU, because that's not where the fault is. Do you have the exact same sound as in the video?

Hello and thanks for your reply. It's a 2013 mod with ~130k km. I originally had a loud banging sound coming from the rear whenever I was turning. I was 100% sure it was the half shafts and the spline banging against the hub, but Tesla took it in and replaced the DU and it was perfectly fine...

This is the exact sound I'm hearing. Owner said that Tesla re-torqued the anti roll bar in the rear. Tesla replaced the end-links on those two weeks ago on mine.

Hello, I need new axles for my S, but I want to keep the cost as low as possible. Should I pay $400 for revision A parts or $1800 for revision C? I do understand that revision C probably has improved some weaknesses of revision A, but the price gap is pretty significant. Thanks for any inputs!

For future reference: - This also happens while turning in Neutral - This does not happen while standing still - On some rare occasions you can also experience this while accelerating. Usually very hard.

I took the chance and ordered a right rear axel from a wrecked car (super low mileage) and will swap the entire thing. Fingers crossed this solves it. The axle was only ~ $200.
