In my case I live very close to the delivery center. When I got my delivery appt I scheduled for the second day option and went to the lot the day before for fun. I saw the delivery qr stickers that show the build date. The vin plate on drivers door also show the month.

I have a 17xxx picked up this week with build date of July 1st. Perhaps color, interior, wheels make a diff too. Feels like no method to the madness...

Took delivery! It was raining at the service center, but my wife and I immediately drove about 10 miles to a lit mall parking garage for true inspection. Put about 40 miles in total this evening. We were told to email any pics and issues within the 24 hour/100 mile quality time period though...
