i used the model 3 flaps by grinding them to the contour of the model y (air die ginder... had to elongate the bolt holes in the flap (so that i didnt change anything to the car).... had to cut the bottom bolt plastic protrusion off (no bolt is installed underneath)... had to cut an inch off...
