slightly off topic but how much battery does sentry mode uses extra. I want to set it up but I wouldn’t want to wake up in morning with dead battery if the car is parked outside in hotel parking lot.

Hi Guys, I had asked my delivery advisor to send me pictures of my MY before home delivery. I just received these from her. I can see it has back seat issue but I don’t see any other very obvious issues in these pictures. Do you guys see anything that I can ask them to fix before home delivery?

Yesterday my DA told me that my car has left Ontario and is on the way to Quebec. Once it arrives at Quebec they will do inspection (???) and send it for home delivery to New Brunswick. considering Ontario to Quebec is hardly 10 hours drive, I am hoping to get delivery by this weekend.

I think you need to select delivery location first before it lets you update anything else. if you don’t see an option to do that just do live chat and agent will fix it.

I have VIN as my Delivery Advisor has emailed it to me but it’s not showing up on my account or source code. if you call them and actually get to talk to someone they will give you VIN.

I will have to cancel my order then, I am getting it mostly for back seats. Don’t want kids spilling things on white seats. I might end up getting those generic universal fit covers for now until custom MY options are available.

That’s what I ended up doing. Ordered model 3 first because I needed a new car sooner, now I have got my friends car till October so I switched order to MY and waiting for delivery. (Hopefully soon)

Just called Quebec Tesla SC after I saw your post. It’s not same for is here in Canada (or atleast in this part of Canada). he said order online only for MY and Delivery by end of September.

That is encouraging. I asked the guy who was helping me with my model 3 order (which I cancelled) and he said there is no timeline but approximately before end of September. Placed order July 5 and confirmed financing on 6th. Haven’t heard anything from Tesla yet, just order confirmation email.

If you order any inventory Model 3, you should get it within a week or so. I had an order for M3 and was suppose to get delivery. I cancelled and orders Y. for MY they don’t actually tell you approximate date yet.

This is really disappointing to find out. I am sorry you have to deal with this when it should be most exiting time with new car. I hope Tesla provides solution for your situation.

With my luck: they will deliver all pending orders in Canada and leave mine for Q4.

is this true? I am in Canada and I placed my order just 4 days ago. I wasn’t expecting a delivery till end of September but if this is true then I might get it sooner. Edit: or did they reduce production after Q2 for MY and increase it again towards end of Q3 for US deliveries?

That is long wait, I really don’t understand how Tesla deliveries work. I read some people ordered in June and received it in 2 weeks and still people who ordered way before are waiting.

Update: I had placed order for Red M3 LR AWD and I was very confident it was that it was good choice. However, I was able to get a car from my friend for few months to use so I cancelled my Model 3 and ordered Model Y. I have this loaner till October so hopefully I will get delivery for Y...

10 years in Moncton, surprised you didn’t make Moncton your permanent home. We are so nice here. I will mostly be driving on highways so hopefully Model 3 will be ok. Worst case when the roads are really bad I will just have to take my wife’s CX5

I wish they would let me do delivery before midnight tonight. I am really exited about getting electric car, my only experience with EV was driving friends Kona. I loved that and I am sure Tesla would be better.
