I live in Corvallis and drive that route, too. I can make it to Sisters okay in 2019 M3 SR. If you're nervous about at all, take this route and charge at Detroit Lakes SC? It's not much longer and it's easier drive with better roads.

This definitely used to be the case. But, I'm not sure that's true anymore. I was driving recently at -26C (-15F) and navigation estimates were spot on. Plus, I think it was adjusting for a massive headwind in the Gorge.

I agree completely. In my SR+, I can't risk going from Hope to Kelowna. Maybe from the new Hope one to the West Kelowna one but then I'd have to drive a lot slower than I like. :)

I agree. Live in Oregon (and before pandemic) travelled to visit Okanagan family often. I much prefer 97 through Washington and BC than I-5/Coq.
