Your 379 Wh/mi is the reason for your poor mileage estimate - whether its the driving habit, lack of regen braking, or something internally in your car that's eating up energy without your knowledge. Knock it down by ~100 Wh/mi and you'll be in the range of what you expected from the car...

Agree, at baseline, Golden Rd is awful. I do recall being up there in early March this year where the roads had been pretty snow packed. It actually created a very smooth road to drive on. But agree, would be a gamble to take a Tesla up that way and be hit with some rocky roads.

I am having the same issue. On my way to Santa Barbara I had a full charge of 306 and I was down to 28 miles after a total of only 215 miles driven. WTF? Not happy !!!! Out of curiosity, did you notice what your Wh/mi was? If it was well above >300, then that explains your lost mileage

Yes, those are protective covers during the shipment. You can tell via the OP photo that my handles are "missing" because it's white sticker on white car. The truck driver took care of everything by the time I arrived (wheel caps on, handle covers off).
