Thanks, Fred. I tried your suggestion the other day, and screen indicated there was an event, but nothing recorded. Seems to be hit and miss, mostly miss.

Get a sentry alert, but nothing shows when attempting to view. Also, thumb drive (one recommended in Tesla manual) has to be removed and reinserted for my model Y to recognize as formatted. Dash cam seems effective, but not sentry.
