Hm... I just got my Y back from the detailer and tried out the charger. It always worked on my 11 Pro Max, but the 12 Pro Max just isn’t charging... I’m not so sure that a spacer would work if it’s an issue with the coil alignment. I don’t know what to do :(

You said without a case, but would it work with Apple’s cases? I really don’t want to go without a case...

I put pay in cash until right before I was going to take delivery. I had them change it to loan and it updated within seconds, really. When did you apply for the grant? I wouldn’t apply for financing just yet if you’re still early on in the grant process.

This “expiration date” only applies if you haven’t submitted it yet. Otherwise, your application is good until they review it and give a decision. Good luck! :)

Maybe it’s still pending approval. Not all of the other cars include the 2021 models either. It’s still too early to tell. In any case, you have 3 months after purchase to apply for the CVRP so I hope they start recognizing 2021 M3s and MYs soon!

Don’t lose too much hope! I was ready to wait until late December too, but was surprised with a VIN the day after I asked to be matched to a car again!

Delivery went smoothly today! I named him Panda :) No major defects that I saw. Panel gaps and lights/charging port was perfectly aligned. Only (minor) issue was a few dirty spots on the headliner. Good luck to everyone still in the process!

Lease terms and down payment information can be changed up until delivery, so don’t worry too much about that. I would say place the order and defer delivery as needed as long as you have a timeframe in mind of when you want to take delivery so you can lock in on prices. I guess it’s not...

Honestly, they knew how to add the grant easily for me (Marina Del Rey) but my SA got confused with how much down payment I was going to put, so it went back and forth. But now I can rest easy and just look forward to delivery tomorrow! :)

I’m set to pick up tomorrow! Just a question for those who would know. I got approved for financing with Chase with 2.59% APR. If I confirm this now, can I still change the amount financed later on because the grant hasn’t been applied to my totals yet.

I did not include the grant amount when placing the order. They can always change that for you before taking delivery. Just contact your delivery center and email them a copy of your filled out approval packet!

I have a 2021 model! 68XXX I had three VINs because I delayed delivery while waiting for the grant approval. Just scheduled my delivery for this Sunday the 1st!

My final update... couldn’t be happier! Timeline: Submitted CVAP Application 8/14 Ordered Model Y 8/22 First VIN Assigned 9/17 Second VIN Assigned 10/12 CVAP Approval Status via Website 10/27 Third VIN Assigned 10/28 Approval Email and Packet Received 10/30 Now waiting to schedule delivery...

It should be listed on the CVRP website. As of right now, the only ones eligible for the M3 are years 2017-2020. Hopefully the 2021 will be approved for both M3 and MY soon!
