Mr Miserable, we collected our M3 yesterday so won't be frequenting this thread very often now I don't expect, however prior to pickup we loved seeing your daily updates on ship progress. Just wanted to say a huge thanks for making our wait more bearable!!

We drove by Birmingham Tesla yesterday to see if we could spot our M3 we pickup on Wednesday this week. We didn't have time to spot ours, as we were promptly (but politely) shoo'ed away! Did manage to grab this pic briefly though:

It is yep. When we first called to check our order had gone through and there wasn't anything else we had to submit the agent said its brand new and opening late August.

Just got our text :D Pickup 2nd Sept from Birmingham. SR+ ordered on 26th July, VIN allocated 30th July.

We got the text just now also, selected a slot for the 2nd. We can finally stop staring at our phone screens! :D

Nope, we got told our VIN on 30th July and no text yet :(. We're a Birmingham pickup.

Thanks all, tried again and started off with asking for the ship. She told me "that's information we don't have and are not allowed to give out" Not sure how many staff man the delivery queries line but don't want to risk calling back incase I get the same rep :rolleyes: Back to staring at...

How have people managed to get Tesla to confirm the ship their car is on? We called early last week as we saw our spec on the new inventory, they confirmed at that stage we'd been matched to a car and provided the full VIN over the phone. When asked what ship the car was on the advisor said "I...

Might be a dumb question, but how do the vehicles get to the UK if Glovis Sun doesn't come to Southampton? Is there another ship that is loaded?

@Mikeoneuk85 - We called 01628 450 604 - choose option 2. Some have had luck using web chat too, but we've used that twice and all theyve said is "you will get a text" and nothing else. Phone agent was super helpful yesterday. Good luck!

We noticed the same thing yesterday, called Tesla and they confirmed we had been matched (they hadn't told us prior) and gave us the full VIN. I expect you have been matched if you're seeing your spec on the Inventory but call them and ask to be sure, you'll get your VIN that way too :)

Fingers crossed it's that one :) I don't know if they would have told us we were matched and gave the VIN if it wasn't for us calling because we saw the same car we ordered on the new inventory list. We haven't had any calls to us or SMS etc. Onto My Ship Tracking Free Realtime AIS Vessel...

We've just been told we've been matched and have a 76*** VIN. The Tesla staff said it was already on the "next ship to come in" and would be here in August. Would this be the Glovis Sun do you think?
