This is a good question. I guess I figured that towers have some kind of database they can check to see how to tow each car they come into contact with. I’d be *pissed* if someone wrecked my car from towing negligence.

Agreed. Surface streets show red at stop lights and stop signs even with no traffic. I’ve found it to be pretty spot on with highway traffic though, in small mini jams (in the Northeast) the red line has started and stopped nearly exactly at the same spot that traffic visualization said it would.

This hasn’t happened to me but some Tesla YouTube couple online described a situation exactly like what you described.

I’ve had a bunch of these happen too. I’ve lost once or twice to some suped up cars but honestly the best part for me is listening to how hard their car needs to work just to keep up with my quiet and vibration-free electric speed demon.
