Following the theme of winter driving, after fitting winter tyres (or not) there’s an option under tyre calibration to change the fitted tyre type to winter for a better driving experience. What does that actually do?

Any recommendations for charging in North Wales? I’m due to be around Porthmadog for a few days and looking at the usual apps show very few options. Anyone experienced in this area ?

Still not fixed. After raising a service request I was phoned by Tesla and told that it was a software issue that would be fixed in the next software release. Not yet :mad:

It’s just a tyre that’s got damaged in your custody. It didn’t arrive to you like that. Could happen on any car and regularly does. Get it swapped - move on - and enjoy an amazing car that’s fun to drive.

Had one of those, almost identical. You need a new tyre. Be careful too, if you continue to use a known defective tyre and something goes wrong you’ll could be liable and you’ve just put the evidence that you knew on a public website :eek:

The answer is persist I had all 4 rear lights replaced recently. 1 year old. Police pulled me a pointed out that the lights were probably not legal so wet. They followed for some time and then pulled, very polite, no issue etc. Tesla ranger initial reaction was that they were not wet enough to...

Darude, Cheap usb called it LightShow One folder inside LightShow Two files in folder. Plugged into USB C. Job done.

Only difference I’ve noticed is that in reverse my rear facing camera no longer “stutters”. It was perfect until one of the recent updates and then became really quite poor. This morning - fixed. :)

Exactly, yes officer, no officer etc etc. Then if Tesla Ranger doesn’t want to sort them out perhaps they can provide a “fit fit purpose” notice. Photos taken approximately 4hrs after arriving home, when pulled it was probably about double. Completely clear again now.

When my car was brand new, 12months ago the rear lights fogged up inside from condensation occasionally. Service centre said its normal. Had the same problem in November and again service centre said it’s normal and acceptable. They always dry out but when it’s cold and wet they do mist badly...

I’m running 245 35 20 instead of 235. Slight improvement on rim protection, no noticeable range change. Just look better. IMHO

installed… Perhaps a minor fix could include automatic wipers !! Or is that major !!

I test drove an ipace a year ago and got 168 miles when driving mainly on motorways, that was the main reason I chose Tesla. I never get less than 200 on a charge no matter how or where I drive. Only power saving I do is to never use aircon.

I did 202 miles yesterday in my MP3 not hanging about, majorly on motorways. 20.5 deg cabin, 50% heavy rain and dark. (Winter tyres fitted) Journeys end 62 miles range left. Very happy with that. Also noticed that the updated software is far less prone to phantom braking.

Other than even now we have been given miles instead of kilometres back, as usual Tesla have left a bug for us to find. …. Just plugged in to charge and I have limit set at 280mi, Charge rate of 27mi/hr , range now at 194mi but ! ! Why oh why is it telling me that it’s added 4 km so far...

?? Overnight I didn't get anything last night it was the night before. When I say it doesn't on mine, I'm showing Km / % but language change in IOS doesn't change it to miles.

There certainly are plenty of drivers who haven't had a day of professional training beyond "how to pass your test" and truly believe they are gods gift on the road. Then they meet with someone who has and is. Reality hits home (but not for long) as the saying goes "A legend in your own mind"...

Keep in mind that 235, 245, 255 all have different O/D’s so will alter speedo readings vs reality. 245 Continental TS860 going on mine next week.

I could do with some advice on charge rate. Plugged into a Rolec 2 x 22kw 3 phase supply at work, using the correct lead. Starts charging at 16 / 16amp 44 mph 240v then after 5 mins or so the amps fluctuate down as low as 6 amp with a charge speed of 12mph. this can happen at any time during...

According to a colleague there were two BMW,S plugged in at Oxford services last week. One had occupants so unlikely to be sitting there with no charge going in.

I’ve acknowledged, semi-wave, a few and rarely got any reaction. I don’t if my wife’s in the car….. sh tells me off….. :(

Looks like it’s trying to route around traffic at the next exit What’s even stranger is that if you’d followed the route suggested it looks like a complete dead-end after a housing estate to specifically stop you going that way.

I normally charge mine before I’m less than about 80m range. Haven’t noticed any drop off, this thing is a smile generating, eye opening bundle of fun. If I was choosing again it would be the M3P again. …. But… the long range wheels are far less of a curbing worry.

Starting battery level is always as you start the route, the route modifies as you drive. If you’d actually tried what you are suggesting you would quickly realise it doesn’t work. take a Garmin , Plan a route with 20 via points in a day and enjoy a route that you want to follow. It may for...
