it took about 3 days to get my delivery date after I got my MVPA, picking up tomorrow at Costa Mesa. I got my delivery text just after a Tesla chat session asking about delivery. You might be quicker as the EoQ is fast approaching.

Ordered 7/7, MSM/black/19”/no tow/no FSD. Picking up tomorrow, 9/24.

So no text for me today, no text since last Wednesday that said 1-2 weeks. Beginning to give up all hope. Then I looked in my account and saw my MVPA! Finally. VIN is 50xxx. LR AWD/MSM/Black/19”/no tow/no FSD No pick up scheduled yet, but will be picking up at Costa Mesa soon hopefully.

I talked to someone who picked up his MY in June. He was told to document anything he found within 3 days or 100 miles. He did, and they fixed it.

Mine went from having the dash to having nothing at all.

I predict that the waiting and delivery timing will also be positive for you. Given that you ordered late August and Tesla will want to push all deliveries out prior to EoQ so you will not see long wait times like some of us.

At this point place in line might not matter. From what I can tell Tesla will try to deliver all existing orders by the end on Sept. Being in CA we are probably at the tail end of the line anyway.

All I had to do was click the EDIT button and then save the order. The price reduction was applied then. I didn't have a VIN then on 7/11 and I still don't today.

Got the same text, 3-5 weeks from today. My order was AWD/Black/MSM/19 on 7/8. Two weeks ago the text was 2-5 weeks. Tesla should just make a single blanket estimate "you might get your car by the end of the quarter". All these changing estimates seem to have no meaning.

According to HOW TO: Decode a VIN (Vehicle Identification Number). : "The 9th digit is like a security code, called a check digit. It is a code number/letter the manufacturer generates to verify authenticity of the whole number." Probably not that important to the consumer.

I think the one thing we can all take away from our experiences is that any estimates given for delivery by anyone at Tesla is about a useful as.... well, you know!
