Difference between the 5YJYGDEF7 vs. 5YJYGDEF9?

Anyone know what the differences if any?

I refused delivery for this one, due numerous issues including the huge gaps on the driver side rear door the SC couldn't adjust and poor paint job on the driver side door the SC tried to fix and ultimately burned the paint

According to HOW TO: Decode a VIN (Vehicle Identification Number). :

"The 9th digit is like a security code, called a check digit. It is a code number/letter the manufacturer generates to verify authenticity of the whole number."

Probably not that important to the consumer.
