Thank you for this. I went ahead and took measurements from the gas riser to each of the AC and DC sources. I also took a picture of the wall with the gas riser and AC and DC sources, overlaid the measurements on the picture and sent it to the Tesla interconnection person as well as my project...

A monthly true up would be bad if you pull energy from the grid during the winter months. You would get paid for the excess energy you produced each month and not carry over any credits to cover you for the months you aren't producing as much solar energy and reliant on grid energy.

In Rocklin California, instead of bollards, the city requires that powerwalls in a garage must be installed on a side wall and 3 feet off of the floor.

No, that would be it. Did you check to see if the power switches on the Powerwalls themselves are on? Also, in the app, try switching to backup only, to see if the solar tries to charge the Powerwalls.

From my experience, bmah is correct, self-powered mode will prioritize solar to house and any excess to the powerwalls until the powerwalls are full. Then it will split between house and sending energy to the grid.

I have the placard as well with the location of panels, disconnects and powerwalls. I did also sign a document that said I had smoke and CO detectors in every room of the house.
