Multiple chargers in the Tesla app

I have two Tesla Wall Connectors and app version 4.30.6-2531. However, the two wall connectors show up as two separate "homes" in the app, meaning I have to swipe between the two. Am I understanding correctly that the only way to merge them into the same "home" is to call Tesla and troubleshoot?

Supercharger - Chesterfield, MO - North Outer 40 Road

Unfortunately, there's no easy pedestrian access, though. Would be a 1 hour+ roundtrip walk to and from the Tesla Service Center. It's good for Tesla Service, though, if for any reason they need to charge a customer's car quickly.

    Supercharger - Alamosa, CO

That would be extremely impressive if they could pull that off. As of 2/10/23, Tesla had 4,750 supercharger stations, leaving 689 days until the end of 2024. To achieve their goal of doubling that, they would need to install 6.9 stations per day, whereas over the previous year, they had...

Glad to see this supercharger finally getting a permit. A supercharger here and in Durango are so badly needed!

    Supercharger - Socorro, NM

I'm charging right now. All stalls work, however, the lot was just paved and is blocked off. You can still plug in, but you need to park in the street as seen in the photo. Some guys just pulled up and are marking the lines now.

    High mileage check-in

September 2018 Model 3 LR RWD (3.5 years old) 74,305 miles 100% range: 295 miles (according to TeslaFi) I keep the car plugged in at home when not in use and supercharge on several road trips per year. No battery or drivetrain issues.

    Supercharger - Columbia, MO - W Broadway

I stopped by today and construction has begun! From the red circle on the map, you can see that the groundwork for the supercharger is being constructed the northeast corner of the property. I spoke with one of the construction workers and he said he expected the supercharger to be online in a...

    B-pillar cameras fogging up?

I am having the same issue on my 8/18 Model 3. Today, I get the "right door pillar camera blocked or blinded" error message with both Navigate on Autopilot and Auto Lane Change disabled. When I parked, sure enough, BOTH B-pillar cameras had condensation inside. For reference, it is 16°F here...

Notification about Window Open? (But Windows are Closed)

I'm having the same issue. It's about 32°F here, and I get a notification from TeslaFi every 15 mins that my windows are down. The Tesla app shows the windows are down as well. Upon visual inspection, the windows are all closed, however, as others have mentioned, Tesla automatically rolls the...

    Supercharger - Moose Jaw, SK

Any idea why Tesla chose to install only 6 stalls at all of the Canadian V3 stations, rather than 8? These two V3 cabinets can supply a total of 2 MW of power, enough for 8 stalls to put out 250 kW simultaneously. Two cabinets is overkill for only 6 stalls. Think they have plans to add more...

    Supercharger - Fargo, ND

Cool! I did some digging (no pun intended), and it looks like Tesla has been using the precast stall bases as far back as May 2019.

I'm guessing that's an old light pole foundation, and it will be removed.

    Supercharger - Regina, SK

Based on X-men's photo alone (re-posted below), this is without a doubt, a V3 Supercharger! As proof, the stall at the V3 Supercharger in Hawthorne has the same exact rating: 350A / 500 VDC (175 kW continuous power). For comparison, here is a photo of the rating on a V2 Supercharger: 410A / 270A...

The public version of V10 rolling out today is firmware version 2019.32.10. According to Elon's Tweet earlier today, V10 is rolling out today for all of those in the US with FSD option and "advanced download" selected in vehicle software settings. You can track the firmware install status of...

    Another update tonight: 2019.20.4.4

I just updated. Beach Buggy seems to load faster and without error. Before, it would fail to load the first couple of times. Now, it loads on the first time every time. I don't notice any other changes.

    Model 3 software super-thread

    Supercharger - Henrietta, TX

Looks like V3 to me! The cabinet is 1,200 amps at 480 volts, which is 576 kW per cabinet. The other photo shows 6 concrete pads with 6 sets of piping, presumably for 6 of these cabinets. We know there are 12 stalls, so that's 576 kW * 6 / 12 = 288 kW per stall.
  19. brandude87

    Supercharger - Henrietta, TX

    Thanks for confirming!
  20. brandude87

    Supercharger - Henrietta, TX

That's awesome! How were you able to verify that these are going to be 250 kW stalls? 12,000A x 480V / 12 = 480 kW max per stall, so that's more than enough for V3. Did they specifically tell you that it would have 12 stalls at 12,000 amps and 480 volts, or is that being assumed?

    Tesla Gigafactory

Sorry about that, Jeff. I had assumed that when you said that the tour started at section B, you were implying that the northern most completed section was section B. I now see that this was a false assumption, and I apologize. Purplewalt, thank you for all the helpful details!
  25. brandude87

    Tesla Gigafactory

That seems like a logical way to label the sections, however, if you dig through the old Gigafactory permits here, you'll see permits issued for section A (or area A as it is sometimes referred) all the way back to September 2015. This would mean that the first four sections must be A, B, C, and...

Here's a rendering of my best guess understanding of the labeling of the current sections. This is based loosely on my memory and backed up (for sections A - F, at least) by this video. This is just my best guess, though. Let me know if you find any more concrete evidence.

Possible reservation number hint on My Tesla

The poll owner should also automatically convert to EST as I think there are some errors in the data due to people not properly converting (or forgetting to convert) time zones.

Possible reservation number hint on My Tesla

As of end of March, Tesla had delivered 122K cars globally since inception, and probably around 25K since then, so about 147K. I'm not sure how many cancellations they've had, but let's say it's around 10%, so that would bring the number to 163K (147/0.90). So that would mean there were 200K in...

Possible reservation number hint on My Tesla

I ordered two at once in store at around 10:05 AM CST (St. Louis) on 3/31/16 and my reservation IDs are 4xxx77 and 4xxx89 (only 12 apart). This definitely seems to be a sequential counter, though, I'm guessing this is just your "place in line" before adjusting for time zones, whether you own a...

New article with some new info and some of the best shots of the exterior of the Gigafactory I've seen: Inside the Gigafactory That Will Decide Tesla’s Fate. Tesla Gigafactory

If you count the pixels in this model of the Gigafactory (and assume GF dimensions of 1452' x 3956' from my previous post), you can see that there are roughly 6 ft gaps between panel sections (measuring roughly 80' x 160'), and 70 ft gaps around the perimeter and between each of the 5 panel...

    Tesla Gigafactory

I wanted to give an update on my previous post about the footprint of the Gigafactory. We know from my previous posts (here and here) that the Gigafactory will be 1452' x 3956' and have a footprint of 5.6 M sq ft. However, I have found a better shot of the new model of the Gigafactory (taken...

    Tesla Gigafactory

You may be right. Now that I've looked at the JB photo a little longer, I've become convinced that the red overlay of phase 2 in the presentation is a 2D and not 3D rendering as I had originally thought. Not being able to see the whole image, it's easy for your eyes to play tricks on you, but...

    Tesla Gigafactory

After looking at the photo of phase 2 presented by JB a bit more and comparing it to a 3D rendering of my CAD file, I realized that my "L" shape proposal of phase 2 is unlikely as it should be visible in the photo. However, I remain confident that the dimensions and positions of the buildings...

I don't have a WSJ account, but here's basically the same article from MarketWatch: Panasonic ups ante in Tesla gigafactory investment. Interesting video. Thanks for posting! A few interesting tidbits: 1:01:00 - JB mentioned that there will be solar panels on the hillside (as well as the roof of the Gigafactory), but mentioned nothing of wind (shown in the original Gigafactory renderings). Have they abandoned wind power...

As confirmed in this video (skip to 2:25), we know that there is a second floor at 23.5', a third floor at 41', and roof at 71' as labeled in the photo above. The elusive 4th floor appears to be halfway between the third floor and roof, so around 56' above ground.

    Tesla Gigafactory Investor Thread

I believe the analyst's estimates are too conservative. In this article from Monday, Elon claims that they will be capable of producing a 1,000 km (621 mi) range car by 2017, and a 1,200 km (746 mi) range car by 2020. This would imply a 217% and 261% range increase (as well as battery density)...
