I dont think you get the bese value out of Tesla. Imagine service being horrible like our pre buying experience? Specially when Tesla has a monopoly for parts and repairs. I am really hoping that you are true in that regards. So far I have just have a horrible experience with this whole process.

I see a lot of people here fanboying over tesla just because it's tesla. As mentioned my Cleo n Company above, its not the waiting that is annoying a lot of people, it's the lack of proper communication and the we don't give a f attitude that Tesla seems to have currently. I don't mind waiting...

Totaly understandable why they would do that. Imagine having to wait 3 months for your car and nobody gives a prope response or update as to when you will get your car. Some people have to put many of their plans and activities on hold because TESLA doesnot deliver or communicate about the car...

not at all..we both financed from tesla but got approved for different apr. I got approved for 2.19 but he got approved for 2.49. That was it. I dont know why they are delaying my order in paticular. At least the SA should be able to communicate with the factory to see why there is a delay in...

I have a white on white standard range plus. Ordered 2 months ago, still havenot received the vin. My friend ordered the same config two weeks after me, we both live in SF and he already picked his car up. So, your statement about making in batches is true but I think they dont priortize people...

But why would people who ordered on november are assigned a car earlier than us.? That makes no sense to me.

Tesla website says 2-4 weeks for delivery of new model 3. Just wondering how many people will be disapointed when they will have to wait 2 months like us . lol

You probabbly need to wait until the end of december same like mine. Basically that dick head told me that they are prioritizing california at the end and prioritizing other states first.

Got a call from Tesla. Basically what they told me was I need to wait until the end of this year for my delivery and I ordred the car first week on november. SMH.

When did you order you car? Most people in Vancouver have already taken delivery of their car orr vin assigned in this forum. The only people who havenot received a vin or any update are californian's.

I feel like Tesla doesnot give a Rat's ass about california delivery. I see people from all over the country having a vin assined except for californians like us.

Tesla delviery center fremont replied to me and basically they told me that bay area will be receiving bulk of the deliveries on the last 3 weeks of December which kinda sucks, but it is what it is with Tesla I guess.

Exactly. I don't mind waiting for the car if they tell me a proper time frame when my car will be delivered. Sold my car, 2 weeks ago because my delivery date was nov 10-12. Now, it's 4-6 weeks away. Now, I have to rent a car for a month and thats going to cost me extra 700 dollars.

I would say end of januray at least. The guys at CVAP are a bunch of hobos. I am currently at 80 days and still havenot gotten my approval yet.
