Tree leaves, mildew, rain/dirt/mold, could make replacing air filter necessary. Your not having to replace it is a blessing, but most of us probably do need to.

Yeah, I don't know why the Prius Prime's heat was so slow. The seat warms up similar to other car's seats because all seat heating are electric, but the air from the outlets just won't warm up after quite a while. Good to hear that Model 3's heat is near instant. Will definitely need to try it...

The one place that replied to me so far was quoting $490 (NEMA) + $69 (breaker) + $150 permit to install, even though I specified that the outlet should be right at the panel (so it should be the cheapest kind of install). The permit is actually $150 extra, and 120V outlet also $169 extra, the tandem break is $69 extra. So total was $490+69+169+150 = $880. The $490 was for NEMA alone.

Thanks for your replies! I checked my panel and the inside has the model # and said it's 150 amps max (see photo below). It indeed has 240 VAC. Based on the scheme drawing, there're 10 rows for breakers but only the lower 9 rows were used. So I assume that I don't need to upgrade the panel...
