100% understand the sentiment. When black/black is clean tho, nothing comes close, for me. I have a 2022 Model 3 LR in red and maybe because I've washed it well over the yrs, it ALMOST looks like Ultra Red in certain lights. I love red, a return to black/black for me was inevitable tho.

I got my order in at 1:05PM EST (10:05AM PST) after mulling it over for over 1 hr. Assumed it'd come back to bite me but I notice everyone that ordered, no matter what time, got pushed to June.

Contacted Tesla Finance and was on hold for 3 hrs last week, they said they refunded already. Now I talk to someone and he says they don't have access to that system (so the first guy was lying). It's been escalated.

I understand what you mean but I really really love black/black. No other color like it when it's super clean. The trick is to power wash them so all dirt comes off top and then do the wax. They just wax all the dirt into the paint. It's sad.

So, thru luck of draw, got to drive and have a Model Y Performance for a day. I am now 100% in on the MYLR. MYP is great but comparing it to a M3P, I 100% agree w/ others that it doesn't feel as sporty. Obviously, sitting higher on Model Y Performance vs Model 3 Performance, the speed feels...

Which checklist did you use in particular/

Wait 2-4-6 hrs, then release the hold. You SHOULD receive a DIFFERENT VIN. They will sometimes try to send you the same VIN as before so make sure you know what that was or pay attention to the documentation. Otherwise, you will be in line for the next one being made at factory.

Already got a MYLR set for delivery on Wednesday. I thought about it too late, was gonna ask to see if I could assign my order to a MYP instead. But then I'd have to get 19's for the MYP due to the 21 inch wheels that are made of paper mache :( **And of course, Tesla increased the price again.

Should I get a MYP instead of MYLR? :(
