Glocester Southbound this afternoon - I know the V4 cables are longer but surely it would have made sense to space them out a little bit more? Gloucester Northbound looks further ahead: I also stopped at Michaelwood North (I actually needed a charge). I spoke to one of the guys in the team...

Hopwood Park Piccies from earlier this eve. Phase 1 - original six stalls taped up ("reduced service in app/car") Phase 2 - ten stalls - just me charging Phase 3 - twenty stalls - one of the bases Phase 3 - still (unsurprisingly) twenty stalls - the 15 bases so far installed Also, I spoke to...

So, the Model 3 is now available in white, eh? I wonder how that looks. Any auditors out there who fancy supercharge.info v (sadly misnamed) TOUK Supercharger Tracker 2022 v TOUK Google map. I can understand why Tesla might position theirs out of line, bit surely the crowd sourced ones should...

The nav system should tell you which stall to go to. If half the (v2) stalls are 'correctly' occupied then it should be able to point you to the space next to the one that is currently charging slowest.

Supercharge reckons they have 19,646 stalls in the US so NOT ALL and presumably not the busier ones

I'd like to see the UK sites at the top of this leaderboard. There's a lot of people watching this thread and we are clearly not as hungry for superchargers as the Hungarians and South Koreans

Agreed! I may or may not live in Cheltenham with included supercharging :) so this would perhaps help fill the M5 hole (and my pockets). The South Koreans are certainly well orchestrated ("Come on Cheltenham!"):

I'd just come here to say that! It's a bit of a charade really, my expectations are that most in GB will most likely vote for the 4 on the mainland and maybe Cavan or one on the way to their favourite holiday location in Europe. Presumably this happens in other countries too which would make...

Help: Horrific battery draining while parked in long term parking structure - I've got 12 days to go

Power off? I've had really bad drain this week. Charged to 205 miles on Tuesday (6 year old S75D - 60k miles). Drove home (20 miles) and have done three short 2-3 mile trips since. I know it is cold (Cheltenham) and short trips are not ideal particularly in the cold but I'm down to 130 miles...

There's something afoot at Hopwood Park with fencing up and 'stuff' around here. My sleuthing skills aren't very good and so I can't find any planning documents. Given the 'far corner' location, my guess would be chargers. Can't guess who though. David

I hope not. There's a pleasent enough 30 minutes or so circular walk. Up Church Lane, turn right past St Peter's church (where Barry Hines is buried), over a stile, through some woods and round the edge of the golf course back to the chargers where, of course, you find they are both still...

Suggestion for 2022 Tracker, Cell J113 =Sum(J2:J112) which'd be OK until a row were inserted just above the total row Cell M8 = J113 Or delete row 113 and make Cell J113 =Sum(J:J) Also, Cell M9 = countif(J:J,">0") -1 or not depending on decision about row 113 M11 to M25 could use sumif and...

Road Trip - Charging in France & Spain

Thanks, both. I had been on Pass Pass but not spotted the 'occasional user' bit and I'll dig out a fatter piece of string :) Five and a half years as a Tesla owner and I'm still a noobie

Road Trip - Charging in France & Spain

I'm driving to France (near Arras) on Saturday (all a bit last minute so there's not a lot of time to guarantee getting a ChargeMap (or other) pass in time). I'll probably be OK with Superchargers (there's 4 within 35 miles but none within 30) so it'd be good to have a trickle option at the...

East of Norwich is such a dumb location. West of Norwich makes much more sense. Norwich is the most likely destination in Norfolk and most people will be coming from North, West or South. Apparently, they are planning on one to the East of Hull too. There's not much to the East of Hull.

Perhaps we don't need the bombardment just yet. I had this in a response from the Liberty centre manager:

Or perhaps we could start with bombarding the shopping centre with emails asking them to enforce the "Tesla only" parking

    Odd Supercharger Navigation Suggestion

Thanks! Thinking again though, it'd definitley be faster charge speed at Mansfield but the motorway to SC to motorway transit time will be longer there too - this is probably the answer. I guess it more depends on whether I want to eat (Hopwood) or shop (Mansfield (which also has eating...

    Odd Supercharger Navigation Suggestion

Sorry if this has been asked before - I did search. I'm in Gloucestershire and am planning to go to North Yorkshire starting with a not full S75 (with CCS). It's an easy route, M5, whole of M42 and then M1. For this journey when full, I would normally charge at Woodall so I set the navigation...

Gridserve Charger Sites in UK [megathread]

This one seems to have vanished without trace, Crazy location, should be on the West side of Hull rather then the East (You're going where?). I can't find any obituary though. Moderator comment - invalid/non functioning link removed - http ://Hull to get one of UK%27s first new electric...

Do you plan to pay for your TM3 with Bitcoins?

This Bitcoin nonsense has turned me from being a vociferous Tesla supporter (Model S bought 9/2016) to a Tesla hater. I will now actively discourage people from thinking of buying worse than ICE Tesla cars. Musk is clearly not seeking to "transition the world to sustainable energy", he is...

Not the UK Supercharger Site News thread

The 69 is now 71 and the chart is now showing 70 but according to Supercharger.info's own rules, I think it should show 67 as they say they only count one of a North/South or East/West pair and there's four of them in the UK (Stoke, Warwick, Membury & Hilton Park).

Why (like Braintree) do they insist that you drive round the entire site before you can access the chargers (unless you're going to use the Tesla Superchargers)? Once charged, sure - drive round it again. All those laps are going to add up to a lot of wasted energy over the years.
