No VIN here, held on to 19-30 June for some weeks but as of yesterday back to the original “November” - will give it a week or so then will admit defeat for this quarter 🙂

At about 0:53s you can see cars arriving into the column of parked cars in the background. My theory is they will be RHD as it’s easier to get out of the car from that side once it’s parked rather than squeezing out of the left hand side of the car risking dings etc.

Mine has been alternating between November (the initial EDD I was given) and dates in June, it's been round that cycle a couple of times this past week. They should just replace it with a 🤷‍♂️ until it's on a boat ;)

My M3RWD Black / Black / Aeros order from March 9 has just moved from May/June back to its original November 2022 EDD, which I’d still take tbf 😅

I’m definitely waiting on a VIN / actual delivery date, doubt it makes a difference to likelihood of being matched (although not certain) and I like to keep my options open!

My experience (both on the phone and in chat) was that they’d match you, but you need to pay the price difference.

Agreed the end of quarter thing is the most likely explanation, ah well at least this way we aren’t denied the fun of the shipping thread!

If they can get someone with a less expensive reservation to pay extra for an inventory model now, then they’d get to sell both at the higher price 😅

I’m also hearing violins right now 🙂 Just had the same experience with a RWD, Craig on chat said I’d have to pay the extra £3k for the inventory car despite the spec being the same. I guess with demand so high they’ll sell it for more than my reservation without too much trouble…
