I know it's mundane to "watch charging", but I'd love to come see it in use if you wanted to give a heads up when you're headed to Top City. Would like to document one of the first charges on it (post commissioning by Tesla and contractors).

You can see them installing the second bank of 4 Superchargers on the West side of the properties. They've got the fence around the transformers/ inverters almost done. I didn't want to get in the way, so I didn't check what was going on in the trenches.

I've heard it'll be open in October, so it can't be too long from now. I'll try and head down there over lunch and catch a few pictures.

Don't know if this was already known, but they're predicting 8 superchargers, according to a comment by the author below the story.

@cjc9er, Who'd you talk to at the permit office? What was the phone number of the office you called. I could check back with them from a local perspective.

The Topeka SuperCharger will be on the Wanamaker corridor. It will be to the north end of the Wanamaker strip. This is if talks with the shopping center it'll go in works out. This is from as close to the horses mouth as can be.
