Just to give an update to everyone - I applied on 12/23 and am still listed as "Under Review". This is going a LOT slower than I anticipated.

Took delivery today of my Blue/White MYP (3/26; ordered on 1/18). Waaaay too many defects..I was honestly about to decline delivery but my hand was forced by the fact that I'd need to get a hotel and take the train home the next morning. All in all, Tesla said they'd fix it all, but now I have...

I'm very afraid that taking delivery towards the end of the quarter will mean more issues with the vehicle...fingers crossed.

Received word today that (at least for Santa Barbara pickups) they expect to handle all of the upcoming MYP deliveries in the final days of the month. While I still have no VIN assigned, I was told that I should expect delivery between the 27th and 31st. Fingers crossed

Still awaiting a VIN... I’m actually without a car at this point. If I don’t get delivery soon I’m going to have to cancel my order and buy an ICE. It’s honestly been a very poor experience thus far.

Ive been waiting for my VIN and the CVAP for essentially the same amount of time...Considering my CVAP application date was 12/23, it's looking like a toss-up at this point on who will deliver first

Ouch....I would assume that quite a few people right at the cusp will still get approved, but this is likely going to delay it substantially. Considering I'm set to take delivery within the next 2.5 weeks, I'd say I'm SOL.

My estimated delivery date has changed from "Mar 18-Mar 31" to "7 - 11 weeks from order placed date". The interesting thing is 7-11 weeks from the order date is 3/8-4/5, so an unusual update to say the least...

I was refraining from contacting them as I'm sure their phone is ringing off the hook, but I caved and called today just to make sure they had all of the proper documents. When I asked if the 90-day range was still accurate, I got a similar response. They can't provide estimates at this time...

Same. Started at 3/15-3/31 the beginning of last week, and is now at 3/18-3/31.

I don’t think anyone from January has been approved. The only Jan approval I saw was for a different grant

12/23. Made sure all of my documents were in order around Jan 6th, so its been a waiting game for me ever since.

The 110v adapter should work just fine while you get a 220v installed, unless you commute more than 40 miles every day.

Got it. That means we're likely starting to slip into the ~80ish days range for approval.

Mine updated today from "3/15-3/3"1 to "3/22-3/31". Guess it's good that the window is getting tighter?? 🤷‍♂️

Have you checked the website? I believe it'll show you approved before you get an email notification.

Ya very weird. MYP Blue 5-seater, so nothing really special in terms of the build that I'd think would cause a delay.

You can submit either at this point. I assume this could change as we inch closer to April 15th though.

Got it. As far as I can tell, the ~75 day window still applies and has applied since at least the beginning of January. That would put them right around December 20th.

I find that hard to believe, especially considering I submitted on Dec 23rd and am still pending. Additionally, the last update on this thread was a 12/15 application being approved on 3/1.

Damn, sorry to hear. They were pretty responsive with me; creating my account and getting my loan approval were both a 1 day wait.

Updating my original post, Updating my original post, Stanford Credit Union has in fact given me 1.49%. This is with a 740+ credit score, a SFCU checking account with a $500 monthly direct deposit, and either an SFCU credit card or a down payment of at least 25% on the vehicle.

Order now and tell your SA that you're waiting on the CVAP grant. They should be able to make the necessary notes on your account and give you the best guidance.

This is a great thread, appreciate everyone providing updates to their applications. I submitted mine on 12/23 and (of course) am still waiting. Fingers crossed that I get approved in another few weeks. Crazy excited to get my hands on my MYP!
