I just checked my Tesla app and it shows that it's open to non-Teslas with CCS. Just remember that you need to have the Tesla app installed cuz that's how you unlock the magic dock and pay for charging.

The meters have been installed since the last time I drove by a couple of weeks ago so maybe they figured out the power load issue? 🤞

Drove by today and saw there a crew working on some electrical poles up the block on Hart Pl. Hopefully that means we‘re close to chargers getting powered up.

Drove by today. Looks like construction is done except for a couple of transformers. And confirmed that the other chargers are EVgo.

That’s the best setup for everyone. No risk of non-Teslas occupying multiple spots.

How’d you find out it’s gonna be 16 stalls? More the better especially since you’re right that it’ll be popular with TLC drivers.

Thanks! Looks like 10 stalls instead of the 8 that were originally reported and they installed them on the other side of the entrance closer to the Raymour&Flanigan which is great. Hard to tell from the photos but could you see if they were the new magic dock stalls?

Yea they chose probably the worst spot in the parking lot. Lots of cars entering and leaving the Starbucks drive thru.

Drove by today and saw people working on it. Agree that target parking lot would have made more sense but at least there’s finally going to be a Supercharger in South Brooklyn after years of delays

Last year there was an 811 ticket on behalf of Tesla to survey the parking lot across the street from that Home Depot where the Starbucks is but I guess Tesla didn’t like that location. I agree though that the parking lot @ that Target would be perfect. Tesla could easily install a 12+ stall...

Drove for about 15 min with the door open and didn’t realize til I parked and went to grab something from the trunk. Will keep an eye on it. Hopefully it’s just a one time issue.

Just last the update installed last night and after removing charging cable the door doesn’t close automatically. Tried using the button on the screen and in the app and nada. Needed to give it a little nudge to close.

There was a post a couple of months ago saying that that Supercharger will be in the parking lot of the Starbucks off the Cropsey exit.

Mine was charged to 95%.

its a dark grey and it seems little less grippy than Maxpiders on my previous car but I’m sure they’ll be better than the old Tuxmat design.

I just received them but am waiting to take delivery of my Model 3 at the end of the month. Coming from Maxpiders, these seem pretty on par with those. will Update next week when I take delivery of car.

Going through the process right now myself. The process has been ok so far...the big pain is waiting for FedEx with the purchase documents(they've been really slow since the snowstorm a couple of weeks ago). Hoping to have the deal done by the end of this week, which would be 2 weeks total...

My estimated delivery date range has narrowed over the last few days. Went from Mar 15-30 to Mar 17-29 and just now Mar 18-28. Hoping that means I'll be getting a VIN soon.

Congrats on taking delivery! Yea the area is always so congested; really a test of ones patience. Think of it this way...better driving really slowly in your brand new Model 3 than to still be waiting to take delivery!

...and back to 3-6 weeks. This is gonna be quite a rollercoaster ride til actual delivery.
