I started watching this thread today because the same thing was happening with my 21 M3. The problems started after I installed 2023.12.9.1 about a week ago. No visualizations, headlight on, no Autopilot. Tried rebooting, power off, no entry sleep, and changing the recording flash drive. Today...

It would be nice if they put out a list. I actually had a Mobile Service call on the day that article was published. He had come from a brand new week old service center in Riverside, CA. He specifically mentioned they would be doing solar installs from that location.

I park my M3 in a driveway under a carport, no garage. I needed about a 50 ft. cable to reach from the 240 electrical outlet location to the car. I have been using this EVSE for over a year with no problems. I am in SoCal so no snow here...

I haven't seen it mentioned yet but Tesla has opened a new service center in Riverside, CA. It opened last Monday according to the Mobile Tech who came out to do my M3.

Just happened to me today. Took me off the freeway, right turn onto a road for about 500 feet, had me make Uturn, then back on freeway. I’ve had Google maps do weird stuff like that before so I just chalk it up to a glitch in the matrix :)

I never even knew this was a thing until I let my father in law in his 80's drive my M3. It kept throwing up the warning on the display which I had never seen before. He also said that was how he learned to drive.

Same thing happened to me. I tried everything I could think of. I carry a Modern Spare in the car and one day had to lower the seats and push the spare all the way forward to get something in the trunk. When I went to raise the seat the belt was loose again. I assume the weight of the wheel...

I noticed it after the last update. I actually got out of the car to check the camera to see if there was something blocking it.

I have the Ottosteer installed. No issues after almost a year. I like that it uses the included mount as part of its system, it looks like I am using the stick on mount without taping it to the bumper.

I use the plate holder from OttoSteer. It uses the plastic plate holder that comes with the 3 but instead of using the tape it mounts with brackets that connect under the car. It can be removed using thumb screws but I used the optional Allen wrench install because I am not planning on removing...

I also noticed that people posting photos of their M3s and the mods they do to them seem to be on the younger side, however I think that is because younger people just share more photos, not because only younger people drive M3s. I am 62 and where I live M3s are everywhere, and it is rare to see...

That’s interesting. The Ultimats didn’t come with the dead pedal piece, I had to make something myself to cover that area.

I didn’t use them on mine. The drivers side mat moves forward a little over the course of driving, I just pull it back.

I believe I read on their website that they couldn’t get the license to use the logos.

I have their Ultimats in my M3 front and back. They are very nice and add quite a luxurious touch to the car. I wasn't sure if the Luxe would be too thick so I went with the Ultimats. Sounds like the Luxe would have been very nice as well!

I purchased mats from Lloyds. I too am in SoCal so I really wanted something more luxurious rather than all weather. I got the Ultimats for front and rear. The only thing I don't like is that the drivers mat doesn't have a section which covers the footrest, but I guess a lot of mats don't have...

I let my father in law test drive my M3, and the car kept throwing up these warnings. Turns out he was using his left foot to brake while still applying pressure to the accelerator. I had never seen anyone do it before either, but unless you were watching their feet I guess you wouldn’t realize it!

I like my Ottosteer as well.

My 3 came with 20% left, so I would probably at least plan for it.

Just finished my sticks. Getting them into the right spot takes some practice but once there it seems to work well to block the release. I will probably try elastic instead of rubber bands.

After I bought my Model 3 I let my flying buddies know about it. One of them who also has a Model 3 warned me about charging at the field using the 12 V Battery. I never charge at the field so I didn't ask him why but I assume he had a bad personal experience with trying it.

It is not just the MIC wheel covers that are near impossible to get off. I had to pull like mad to get mine off. Apparently the 2021 redesign of the covers makes them way more difficult to remove. I thought for sure I was going to break them. Start watching here at about the 1:30 mark.

Sorry you are in this situation. I carry a tire repair kit, compressor, and a spare tire. Essentially I am my own roadside service as much as possible. My research told me that unfortunately what you are experiencing is not uncommon.

I have come to the same conclusion. I will probably do a format whenever I wash the car just as a matter of course.

That is to make room for the Power Trunk mechanism.

If you do order a Modern Spare be aware they are super backlogged. Ordered mine June 6 and am still waiting.

I got my VIN on Thursday, Agreements weren't available till this morning. I got a call from Tesla yesterday that our home address is just outside of their delivery circle so they are taking the car to a location closer to me for a Monday delivery once it passes final inspection.

When I put down the deposit my only option was picking up from Buena Park. This morning I received a text that my car will be delivered to my house in the next 1-3 days. I hope I’m home as I’m interested to see how that works!

Email said final balance is now ready. Vision prompt was on account page.

EDD still shows 8-14 weeks.
