    MOT Bedford or MK

I just used Kwik Fit in Bedford - was lazy - they do online booking - and you can go into town for a coffee or 3 whilst you wait. Came out with the right certificate so seemed to do ok.

    So… Highland is out…

Maki22 - I am having a similar quandary (and coming to a similar conclusion as you) between Tesla and Volvo - although was only looking at the used 2022 C40 as a new Volvo just too expensive - did you test and come to your conclusion versus the new 2024 C/XC40 with the new motors/batteries etc?

Tesla open up the SuC network [in UK]

I have an i3 and have to say it wasn't obvious how to disengage the charge cable - so i feel for the lady a bit (FYI - just press the unlock button on the fob - light changes colour and lock on the cable disengages)

    MY LEASE RETURN

I am with Zen too - on the kerbed alloy did they charge you for it? Just wondering whether to get things repaired or not before it goes back

Rumour: Model 3/Y to lose stalks in 2023 model year

They simply don't work in Europe with all our roundabouts. I think it will be a big error to introduce it over here - here's hoping for a retention of the stalks.

    Andersen A2 and solar

I have an A2 with the basic solar. It works ok but i have an issue in that the CT mis-reports the solar production by 0.5kw and therefore thinks there is an excess when actually its all being used to charge the battery or heat hot water etc - i had them back out a couple of times but never...

Anyone in the UK got 'EV Charging' option in Powerwall settings?

Just checked and that option is not shown on mine - do you have a tesla wall charger in your set up?

Octopus Electric Universe app/card and public charge points

and it also works all across Europe too - which was amazingly easy on our trip to the alps earlier this month

Isn't it the one for the original roadster?

    Phantom braking from new gantries

I have to say that my 2015 merc c class has a far more reliable adaptive cruise control (no lane keeping though) than the tesla. Does seems to have improved a touch, but the Merc has not had an issue in my memory - as pdk42 says, you always keep your foot hovering

    HyperVolt Charge Points [megathread]

My parents have a Hypervolt installed to charge their i3 - works fine with that car. Went up with my 2020 model 3 on Monday night and the car just would not accept it - said the charge equipment had an issue - the amps setting just rolled up from 6 to 48 with lots of angry error noises - such...

    Tesla PW2 - UK Availability

Ordered solar and PW2 in March, solar installed in April and was meant to get the PW installed end of July - but as noted, there seemed to be no stock then suddenly i got a call saying it arrived and got it installed yesterday kind of out the blue. So there is some stick arriving in the country...

Home Charge Points Discussion and Suggestions [megathread]

I have an A2 with the solar kit and works very nicely - varies the charge rate to match the solar excess - very happy with it so far and like you say looks smart and tidy with the concealed cable. Had a few little issues with the CT clamp being wholly inaccurate but a visit from the head...

    Octopus Smart Meter Experiences

Long time lurker, first time poster. Just had a similar issue with Octopus - gas bills but no electricity ones but strangely readings only automatically taken from the electricity meter and not the gas one. I enquired with Octopus why and they are apparently investigating why the gas meter...
