No problem! I had initially entered a location as “coming soon” a few weeks ago. PlugShare changed it so it wouldn’t show up as a Supercharger. I reported it as open on Tuesday to them. This morning someone else added the Supercharger again as a new open location and it went through, but...

I’ve had 15 miles deducted from my free miles, but that doesn’t match up with either charge I’ve done. Waiting to see what happens. 😬

Just stopped by after work to see if anything changed. The last stall (2D) is still not working and there aren’t any workers here. Still doesn’t look like billing is set up.

This is all I’ve got!

It’s open! The last stall (the one that had the covers blow off) is not working yet. The techs made it sound like they will be back tomorrow, though.

A fellow member of a local Facebook group just stopped by and said the techs said it’s updating and testing and it should be good to go tomorrow!

SO FAR out of the way.

Just stopped by and the Tesla guys are there still. The lights are on on the stalls. He said “hopefully” it’s active today. I told them about the plastic covers blowing off the stalls last night and he said that my email to the Bloomington Service Center did make it to him. Great news!

Go tell him about the screws! ;)

I went back up there. It was definitely from the wind. None of the stalls have screws in any of the holes. I snapped the cover back on, so hopefully it stays and hopefully they put screws in when they come to turn it on.

I wasn’t sure if I should try or not. One thought that crossed my mind was that if it is laying there Tesla (or whoever) would see it when they come to turn on the Supercharger this week. Unless that’s done remotely? If you think it’s a good idea to do that I will totally go back.

Stopped by tonight in my Model Y that I picked up today (zero issues with it) and was saddened to see this. Hopefully it was the wind and not some asshat.

A beautiful sight. Fence is totally gone. The parking lot definitely needs cleaned up some. The chargers aren’t lit up but it looks like the meter has power, so probably just waiting for Tesla to do their thing!

The meter is there, it’s just dark in color. I posted a photo of it above earlier this week.

Oh that’s awesome!!! I’m definitely going to drive by later and see if the lights on the chargers are on! Don’t get my Y until Monday or else I’d verify by charging!

As of tonight the holes and trenches in the parking lot are nicely filled in with gravel and pressed down. It looks like they did some more landscaping as well. Getting closer! I pick up my Model Y on Monday so this will be nice to have around for those times when I need a quick charge.

I agree that it’s not in the most convenient place. I timed it from the I-74 War Memorial exit to the charger and it’s only about five minutes. Not sure which direction you come from, but maybe that would be a good option for people.

Drove by for a peek just a minute ago. Not much has changed. The power seems to be tied into the grid across the street now and there is a meter installed. The parking lot still needs filled in where they buried conduit.

Construction update! Looks like the bulk of installation is done. The ground is filled in and waiting for pavement, there’s a meter box up but no meter, and the connection across the street to the grid looks like it still needs to be made. Getting close!

Some of the concrete bases are in. I can’t tell how the final arrangement is going to be. I assumed they would put the chargers along an existing curb, but they seem to be in the middle of that open area. Maybe they are sectioning it off more than it already is.

Yep. @MarcoRP updated it within minutes of me giving him the coordinates!

@MarcoRP The actual coordinates of the charger are 40.73920887510001, -89.6067218427055 if it's possible to correct the marker on Supercharge.info.

Thank you! I've been lurking for awhile, but when I finally confirmed it was under construction, it was time to make the account. :)

Preparation and construction has been underway for about two weeks. I stopped by today during the day and snapped some photos and also asked a worker to confirm I was actually seeing construction for the Supercharger.
