I paid $500 all four windows and the entire rear window. He used suntek ceramic 20%. The back two windows have no bubbles at all and I’m assuming it’s because he was able to use the heat gun on those. The front two have a cluster of around 5-10 bubbles and the big rear window has 1-2 bubbles.

Appears to be water. yep I park 5-6 hours in the sun and the rest is garage. I’ll give it a few more days.

Salinas. Shop is called California tint techs. Lifetime warranty on the ceramic tint I purchased. Going back soon to get my windows redone as the bubbles did not go away on 3 windows.

One of my friends ordered yesterday and got a VIN and delivery for today. What perfect timing he had. Meanwhile us waiting weeks to months!

I’ve graduated from this thread but I’ll stick around to help out. I’d tell everyone to just be patient but it’s impossible, even knowing there’s nothing you can do to make the process faster.

So I never had a car and/or never knew that Tesla model 3 rear windows don’t roll all the way down. My doggo was disappointed he couldn’t stick his head out. He probably shouldn’t anyway.

Hmm. That’s odd. I will tell you, I got a quote from the Tesla insurance and it was almost double what I pay with Costco.

If you guys have Costco membership I use the insurance company they deal with. Really good pricing. Been using them for 2 years now.

I got my VIN yesterday and delivery set for Sunday. Just emailed them to see if I can get it sooner. Crossing my fingers!

Yup it’s Kat! She has been nice. I don’t really bug her. I think since order I’ve only text her twice. I have the same dates as you also.

She said it’s highly likely we will receive our car even if it’s on the 31st and she would be shocked if we didn’t get it this quarter. If I do get a VIN this quarter it’s for sure going to be at the very end of the month.

I just text my SA asking about the chances of taking delivery this month and also asked her about cars in the inventory. Let’s see what she says!

I was at 3-6 weeks from order date 2 days ago, switched to 03/21-3/30 until just now. I’m back to 3-6 weeks from order date. Think VIN is coming soon!

On the spreadsheet it looks like most of the west coast are still waiting for cars. How likely is it that Tesla will pump out that many cars in the next week and a half? We on the forums are a small fraction of orders they probably have.

I think they prioritize to people who have all tasks completed.

Funny story... I’m in California and last night I got a call showing a Fremont area code so I answered it instantly, very excited. It was Spectrum trying to sell me a TV cable package. Never been more disappointed in my life.
