Positive Ranting.... If it wasn't for the fact that I'm $17,000 in front of the depreciation curve, I would've canceled this order awhile back. Going take wild guess a this, but I'm sure $100 invested in TSLA in January, wouldn't have yielded a $17000 return. Still want my damn car!!!!

Getting a VIN is like a game from back in the day. Some old-heads in here may remember. B-I-N-G-O People chiming in that they received a VIN, is like screaming VINGO!!!! This waiting is crazy!!!

Within the last four days my EDD has changed from; 10/12 - 11/1 10/24 - 11/7 10/28 - 11/20 10/29 - 11/12 ( Current as of this morning )

My EDD moved this morning from 10/12 - 11/1 to now 10/24 - 11/7. Window shortened a little,, but date extended a bit.. RN1143 (Pre-refresh order - January '21)

I also have the exact same configuration - January (RN1143) Order, but holding a steady EDD for October 12 - November 1 for the last 4-5 weeks. Hasn't changed at all...

I stated a few pages back that if some bogus orders get canceled, theoretically everyone's EDD should get pushed forward. Regardless of batch production, that just means the next batch will be produced sooner due to reduced numbers...

Even so, there still would be less batches if needless orders were canceled. Leading to production of the next batches sooner... It's still an issue of presumed purchases in the pipeline that are fictitious taking up legitimate real purchases. That in itself would speed up production

Here's a theory - Is it possible that due to the utter lack of communication from Tesla, causing some to make multiple bogus orders (trying to make sense of the production priority) is actually backfiring.. Since everything is automated, there are many orders that are just placeholders...

Actually happened earlier today, just getting around to post it... Tired of checking the Tesla Account all day and refreshing...

Just a thought... Is it possible the issue isn't with the 19" wheels, but the All-Season tires? Maybe a possible defect or ride quality/sound issue with the AS tires and they're scrambling to find a sufficient replacement. The wheel change could've been a distraction to the real culprit (tires).

Is anyone keeping track of the time-frame from VIN to delivery? Seems like the only way we can guesstimate when we all should be receiving our cars...
