If you have been approved for the cvap, you forward that approval to Tesla and they do apply the $5,000 as a down payment before delivery. But if you have not been approved for cvap, there's nothing you can do at the moment.

Ordered 3/24/21, MSM, 7 seats, black interior, no tow hitch or FSD. Found an existing inventory stock today in a different city, called the SC and requested to be matched to that car, and was able to get matched. No ETA on delivery date yet. Vin 1594XX

I sent a request to them to implement some type of tracking system, and they said that they hoped to implement that as soon as possible. 🤞

I'm not sure if anybody knows this answer but does anyone know if it will be a problem if I did the cvap under my name but we finance the car with my wife's name as the primary borrower, and me as the co-borrower?

They said that when an application is approved it allocates money to that person until they use it or it expires, so essentially they can't approve any new applications until previously approved applications expire because people didn't use them or they get more funding.

They posted on their twitter that they have important updates to announce soon.

Hopefully this means they found additional funding
