Tesla Solar in Houston & Surrounding Area’s

Because I'm retired, I have the advantage of charging my car in the afternoon on solar, so that helps with my bills. So, after a little over a year on Tesla Energy, my bills were $150 in the winter months (Jan and Feb) because my pool runs 24/7 when it is cold, $30 in March, <$5 until June...

I just ordered 2 PW2s and they are using the inverters from my 2 PW+s. I can’t do the VPP because of the PW+s, but can I use the 2 PW2s for VPP? I’m sure the PW+ inverters will be the problem, but just wondering.

Likelihood of increased accidents due to the stupid horn?

Apparently if you have the steering wheel delimitation issue and get the steering wheel replaced, you will now get the redesigned yoke with better material and the center horn. I'm pretty sure if you have the old yoke, you will eventually have delimitation issues.

Tesla App Zoomed in When You First Open

Glad it is apparently fixed, I will not know until I get on faster WiFi. This reminds me of the engineers at work doing PowerPoint charts who think, “What this presentation needs is really cool animation so that everyone in the room can watch my charts slowly populate.“

For the next week, I’m having to use a very slow WiFi connection and the animation is extremely slow and doesn’t give me as good a view of my house as before. Parts of the numbers are cut off, so I cannot tell how many kWs are going to the grid and house. I’m hoping they fix it soon.

Download My Data does not show values for Export to Grid

This has been reported to Tesla by several people, but is still not fixed. I have a spreadsheet that I keep and I use the CSV data, but then hand type in each days "to grid" numbers that I get from looking at the app.

Tesla officially launches Charge On Solar

Working for me. There are a few issues, like it sometimes splits the available solar so that some goes to the car and some goes to the Powerwall. I would prefer that all go to the Powerwall until it is at 100% and then fill the car. I varies my amps to just what is available from solar.

I was just downloading the app when you posted this. I'll check. I've started adding an additional column to my spreadsheet that is what the app says I'm exporting, so I've started using that number instead of what is in the CSV file.

I've been thinking about this for my new detached garage I had built. During the build, a very old and large oak tree fell onto the garage foundation (before framing luckily), probably because we moved too much dirt from around it. This allows for plenty of morning son to now hit the new garage...
