Got my VIN. Logged in today, had the Teslavision notice, accepted, and then VIN popped up. Delivery window showing 6/17-6/23 (was 6/18-6/26 before VIN). 4/3 order date, Blue/Black/Aero M3 SR+, Virginia.

Between you getting your VIN for a blue M3SR+ and CapitalTM3 getting their VIN for the same location as me (and ordering just a few days before me), I'm feeling pretty optimistic. It's probably misplaced optimism, but I'll take it for now.

Hopefully that means mine will drop soon too. Maybe ours will be on the same truck to Virginia.

I would subscribe to a Patreon for someone to set up a live feed of the Tysons / Tyco rd. lot so I could keep an eye out for my delivery, the same way all those people stalk the SpaceX Starship site.

They are deactivating it on new deliveries, not for existing owners. It seems like they tried to get the software ready in time but it took too long and they have to start moving them. As for your second point, while it's not my area of expertise, I don't think so. That's what the main computer...

I think they were hoping to get all the current features ready before delivery, but because of the backlog now decided they will soft limit autosteer and temporarily disable smart summon and lane departure features to get deliveries started. It is what it is, I suppose.

Just got a text from Tesla saying all new Model 3 & Y vehicles starting with deliveries in May 2021 (this month) will not have radar. Transitioning to Tesla Vision

My advisor said to wait until "closer to May" to apply for financing (through Tesla) since it's only a 60 day approval. If I applied now, and delivery was pushed to late June, it would require another credit pull.

Now May 22 - June 21. Gonna take everyone else's advice and stop following this roller coaster until mid-May and/or until I get a delivery schedule text.
