Being that its not just a simple repairing of the sheet metal, you deserve a new car. It sucks that you have to be put out and off so long, and are going to eat that extra depreciation.

At what point are you getting more range than rated? Meaning you drive more miles than is reduced....for my MS its about 270....at 270 I gain 1 mile.... drive 16 miles to work and only reduces my range 15 miles.

I think this would have gone over much better...since its easier to increase the cost of the car, and not be labelled a money grabbing, cheap skating, miserly skin flint doing it this way. Cmon, Elon sleeps on his friends couches, give the guy a break.

I have no idea what changed. But have been using the 'ideal range' setting bc its makes me feel better seeing 305 vs 220 at 100%.... but when switched back to rated range, saw the 20 mi jump....im sure you are right, its a function of the upgrades not my charging habit.

I have been charging at around 50% to 100% for the last year....and my range increased from 221 to 244. Have been changing the range setting from rated to ideal a few times, also to pct. On ideal its 305mi.

The M3 uses less than a MS...I rented a M3 in Florida a few months ago and in normal driving over 500 mi the avg was around 270. I can get to 270 with my MS, but I really have to drive like grandma. Normal driving its around 315-325 depending on the season.

Our cars need cameras with better resolution. As technology improves, so should this...its one of the main selling features of the car IMO.

Agree its very annoying to keep cancelling a lane change....for the reasons you stated...a lane change is not wanted....this is the main reason I rarely use it. If I ever get to use the FSD I will try it again...not anytime soon as I will never get to 99/100 safety score, a stupidly arrived at...

99/100 "safety score"????? Just looked at mine and its 88/100...might never get this update... Im sure some of this was incurred by the autopilot, shouldnt be punished for stopping the car from sideswiping a truck parked on the side of the road...or for missing pot holes and road debris.

Im confused...you do not think the S is far superior than the 3?? How could you be 50k ahead? Do you not think the S retains any value? If you hate it, sell it,...in this market im sure you will get close to your purchase price.

You adapt to what you want to adapt to. A lot of people decide they cant adapt to an electric car...we are a very adaptable species. I would call it a refusal to get through the learning curve.
