Wow, amazing! I think this means that the Yukon has completed basic Level 3 charging infrastructure for their section of the Alaska Highway, at least for longer range EVs! Though they might need another one to split the 200 miles between Haines Junction and the Alaska border. Now we need BC...

Yeah it’s across NC 24 from the Quality Inn where the old superchargers were. Rumors are that the hotel owner wasn’t happy hosting the supercharger and hence it was removed.

I think they meant that the Tesla.com/findus pin is incorrectly located in the city center. The supercharge.info pin is correct.

If you assume 120 V x 15 Amp = 1.8 kW, and assume that electricity costs about 10 cents/kWh in Seattle, that ends up being 18 cents per hour that it’s charging.

Any chance you’ll have access to a regular 110V outlet? Whenever we’ve gone to the mountains we’ve stayed in cabins where we always managed to find an outdoor plug. Even though it’s slow, you’d get a ~60 miles of range each night.

It looks like the supercharger will be north of I-40 while the Buc-ee's will be just south of the interstate (2045 Genesis Rd). The address for the supercharger (2444 Genesis Rd) places it at the Stonehaus Winery, which currently has a Tesla destination charger.
