It it just me, or are we going to hit 1800 if not 1900 posts by Thursday, 7:00pm PST? Once we get our cars, productivity at work will substantially increase! BTW - order still says June. MS Plaid, White, black interior, FSD, 21 inch rims, ordered Jan 27th.

I think anything is possible here and we'll find out more on Thursday evening. My gut (and hope) says hey may announce the 4680's in the plaid. Elon is super competitive and I don't see him allowing competition to beat him or his cars with range and performance. Again this is wishful...

Thanks for posting but I do not like your post. I also ordered the same exact setup - Plaid, white exterior, 21 in wheels, carbon fiber interior/black, and FSD. Looks like we may be waiting for a while. :-(

Very good point. If, for most of us, waiting for our electric chariot to arrive is our biggest concern in life, we need to rethink things. Don’t get me wrong, I wanted my car months ago. Life could be worse.

You are not the only one. My order page went blank, then was updated to "June" delivery date again. Then I read this thread early today and of course I am refreshing both email and this forum. I'm sure this is good for our blood pressure levels. :)

Now my delivery date as changed back to June1st-June 30th. I need a drink (or three) and also need to stop refreshing my order screen!

I ordered MS Plaid the day of the announcement - in fact, seconds after the announcement. Originally delivery was estimated for March. Then it moved to July. A week ago, it moved to June 01-30. Now my estimated delivery date is July as of July his afternoon.

Agreed - we've all been waiting for a long time and its worth the wait imho.

I don't want to jinx myself - I ordered Jan 27th (MS Plaid, White, black interior, FSD, 21 in wheels). Original deliver date was March, then it was moved to July a few months back. My order page still says July.

My interpretation (and hope) is that this is that the delay is for "new" orders and does not apply for us that have existing orders. We shall see...

Agreed and well said. Believe me I hate waiting and would be in favor of improvements with the accuracy of release dates. However, I’m also patiently waiting for the fasted production car 0-60mph, quarter miler, etc that will be powered by the sun (I’m a Tesla solar/powerwall battery customer).

Thanks - same here as well. I think the question is did everyone receive the updated check mark under insurance. If so, in my option, this means nothing. If not, it may be that some of us may receive vin numbers soon.

Here’s another thought for all of us that are waiting for our new MSLR/MSP. Lots of theories being posted here and believe me, my mind runs wild about why for those who have ordered, what is taking so long. Going 0-60, 0-100 and quarter mile times can be achieved on most vehicles in straight...

Good post and agreed. Knowing Elon, he will come out with some data points on Model S production and perhaps a video of the Plaid as well during and/or after the earnings call...I hope.

Thanks for the update. Purely speculating here (like most/all of us) but my gut says and hopes for an update with firm details of the release date(s)/timeframe and reason for why delivery dates have been postponed. Hope is not a strategy but at this point...

No - the cars will be built and buyers will be able to pick up their cars. The question is...how much more time do we have to wait?

Yep - same here. I ordered my MS plaid I’m late Jan and my delivery date was March. Now it’s June.

That is good to know. I ordered my MS Plaid on January 27th (seconds after the website was updated to allow us to order the new model S) and still have and estimated delivery of March. Please keep us posted!
