FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

The legacy lane departure has been a problem for me. There is a road with a crack in the middle and every time I go down it, lane departure is triggered and is throws out the alert noise and does some swerving. I really wish they would fix this, as it’s not very safe having it try to swerve out...

Tesla Begrudgingly “Recalls” FSD Beta for NHTSA

I’ve also had it turn from a 55 street into another 55 street, for it to immediately lower the speed to 25 since it thinks that’s the speed (country road with no signs). The map data is not great.

HW4 leaked by @greentheonly - new cameras coming?

Yeah, we really need to get a definition of of what FSD will be for both HW3 and later, because I bet they won’t be the same. HW3 will probably “work”, but will have many limitations, like not working in poor weather, slow intersections (due to creeping), and whatever other limitations you can...

    FSD Beta v11.x

If they can't get it from reading the sign or from map data, it's probably best to just have it always be the posted limit and let the driver override it. I wouldn't want it looking to see if there are people because that wouldn't tell you the law. You could end up speeding through a school zone.

HW4 sensor suite and hi-res camera updates?

CEO's lie all the time. They are definitely going to try to weasel their way out of upgrading our cars and say it's "good enough".

HW4 sensor suite and hi-res camera updates?

It still drives like that for me. Have a green light and it slows down way back everytime and misses it. It cuts through lanes when turning left and sometimes when turning right. It's just slow and untrustworthy. I imagine they can improve it to be safe enough with HW3, but it will still drive...

HW4 sensor suite and hi-res camera updates?

Using "Safer" as a way to say FSD is "solved" is not good enough IMO. If it gets to that point while still to driving like a student, then that's not "solved". The question I have, is will it require HW4 or better to get to that point? Everyone on HW3 is going to get a half baked product that we...

    HW4 leak: 1 fewer camera

Yeah, Tesla might feel like FSD is good enough with some band aids. But, even if they can get it to be mostly safe, and it still drives like a student driver, that's not finished IMO. I'm sure this is where the disagreements will start. Some will say it's fine as long as it is safe, who cares if...

    FSD Beta v11.x

They usually work for me. Better then the Honda auto wipers.

    FSD Beta 10.69

Didn’t the tweet from yesterday say it would go to employees first? There could be what we are seeing.

    CCS Adapter for North America

Also, I’ve never gotten more than around 70kW regardless of what they are rated with the SK adapter. I’ve tried ChargePoint rated up to 125 and EA both 150 and 350. I doubt the US version is different but l will check.

    Elon: FSD Beta tweets

Of course it would not be accurate to call it safer then human driving without also including how often one has has to disengage NoA because it doesn’t do something right.

How to deal with phantom braking?

Haven’t had any phantom braking on the highway since getting FSD, but it definitely happens on the streets. Sounds like leaving FSD won’t matter anyways since a new update is out that moves radar cars to vision.

Wiki MASTER THREAD: Actual FSD Beta downloads and experiences

Not sure if this is the right place, but I just got 10.12.2 today and it did not go well. As people say, it accelerates and brakes too hard. I’ve seen it brake hard way too early for a stop sign like 20 feet back and then inch forward. But the worst was when it tried to pass someone on a...

FSD Beta 10.69 Set to Release to Only 1,000 Vehicles This Saturday

Finally getting 10.12.2, looks like they must be rolling out more.

    FSD Beta 10.69

And being opted in seems to keep you at an earlier version. I’ve been sitting at 12.3.16 for a long time.

    FSD Beta 10.13

This is a little off topic, but I’m guessing I’m stuck on 2022.12.3.16 due to being enrolled in FSD beta? I checked TeslaFi, and it seems like most Model Ys have moved on from that version.

    2022.20

So now there is no diff between EAP and FSD…

    2022.16.1.2 -> 2022.16.2

    I’m still stuck on 2022.12.3.16

Data likely shows Teslas on Autopilot crash more than rivals

Yeah, a lot of pressure is put on Tesla here, and I’m not saying there should l not be an investigation, because the system does have some problems like with phantom braking. But, my previous Honda would do that to sometimes and I’ve had it try to emergency break hard when not needed, almost...

95+ score and no FSD Beta today?

At this point it feels like people are just guessing, and if they get the update, it’s random/Tesla has some other criteria not publicly known. There are many of us who have been waiting since the beginning and still don’t have it even though we should be eligible.

FSD beta expansion to new beta testers June 2022

Honestly it’s pretty annoying that Tesla is doing this. I keep seeing new owners with FSD beta, when some of us have been waiting since they opened it up last year. Wish I knew what was going on…

    CCS Adapter for North America

Just got my adapter today and tested at ChargePoint 62.5kW, getting around 58-61kW.

    CCS Adapter for North America

They order it from Tesla and ship it once they receive it. That’s what they told me they were waiting on. I ordered on the 11th and it just shipped today.
  26. J

    CCS Adapter for North America

Ordered that same day, sounds like it just takes them a few days to get them shipped.
  27. J

    CCS Adapter for North America

Those that ordered directly from Harumio, how long did it take to get a shipped email?
  28. J

    CCS Adapter for North America

Glad to hear, since I don’t want to provide credentials. Do you know where they are getting stock?
  29. J

    CCS Adapter for North America

My order got canceled too. Not surprising though. Here’s too hoping they are sold in the U.S. soon.
  30. J

    CCS Adapter for North America

How did you find that out?
  31. J

    CCS Adapter for North America

I placed an order too and it just says order complete and payment posted. I’m expecting an email that it’s canceled anytime.
  32. J

    CCS Adapter for North America

As much as I could use one of these right now, not sure I am willing to risk trying to order from Tesla Korea. Let us know how it goes though!

Consumer Reports Updates Its Scoring System, Leaves Tesla FSD Out In The Cold

I agree it’s subjective and probably just a jab at Tesla. I feel less attentive because I have to take my eyes off the road to see if that message pops up to pull on the wheel.

    Stuck in 2021.32.22?

How many people are still stuck on this? Looking at teslafi thousands have moved on, but some of us are still stuck.
