Thanks! Should be soon for you too. I called to see if I could get an MVPA, but won't be generated for a day or so according to the sales guy I talked to at Chicago SC. Doubt I'll actually be taking delivery today, tomorrow, or Thursday if docs take that long to generate and for someone to reach...
My account page did the same thing last night. There's also a thread on the TeslaMotors SubReddit about how the AutoPilot page was changing and removed Automatic Emergency Breaking and Front Collision Warning, so seems like not just the account page is getting tinkered with...
I mean no one has a gun to your head for the down payment or the loan from Chase, US Bank, or whoever Tesla is using because you clicked a confirm button. It seems you have a lower risk tolerance and should read everything you're agreeing to, but at the end of the day if you don't take delivery...
Not sure on that mine was financed thru BMW Bank of North America. I imagine it's possible that Carvana could do everything between the lender directly, which is most likely the manufacturer's banking arm just like in a finance payoff. If you paid directly Carvana would then just pay you though...
Thanks for the heads up - can't say any of those are great options though with how large the line is for these cars...
Essentially, Tesla is saying take the car or take your choice of pounding sand by 1) waiting months to get a diff car while we hold on to your cash or 2) cancelling your order...
That's a bummer if so...I don't want to be waiting for an ACH back for $15k on Tesla's timeline if I were to reject delivery...
Wonder if this is something else that SA's have a different answer for as well.
That's not correct. You provide payment details when setting up delivery. I'm approved through Tesla financing and got a lower rate after emailing for them to shop around. There were no inquiries on my credit, and I plan on paying around $15k down, which was not taken out of my account (didn't...
Hey just chiming in with my experience with Carvana, the guy showed up look at the car and did for like maybe 2 whole collective minutes, turned it on and looked at dash, then said everything looks good and your money should show up in X amount of business days. Signed some papers and he was off...
My SA is just giving canned answers based on the delivery estimate shown in my account page, which is disappointing when some are actually acknowledging the delay and saying they don't know... I know SAs are getting barraged with a bunch of questions but the last time I bothered for an update I...
The resident data guru (captainreynold) in the order tracker spreadsheet thread said the 2 biggest factors impacting delivery is 1) location and 2) configuration. Anecdotally, (not crunching numbers at all, just looking at Reddit) it seems like there are people that ordered after me that are on...
I had delivery date ranges that varied for a few days and for the last week have had delivery estimate of "-". No VIN assigned, no preparation for delivery notice or texts, nothing.
Basically, it's a total crap shoot.
I emailed [email protected] about my situation and they asked if they can shop around letting me know there would be additional credit checks. Got 2.24% for 72 month note with Chase.
Has anyone ever had their delivery estimate disappear for days? I'm approaching almost a week of my delivery estimate being "-". I can't find the VIN assigned anywhere either (inspecting the page in Chrome). My phone number is up-to-date as well and the service advisor texted me once on a...
Also interested in the 2021 mats if they’re updated for the additional space between the seat rails. I remember hearing May availability but we’re almost there.
Just my 2 cents. All depends on your situation, but if the tax credit comes back I anticipate 1 of 2 things will happen. 1) Demand/delivery dates will balloon if prices stay basically the same 2) prices will rise with demand and negate most value of tax credit.
Even with my order profile completed on 3/30 I'm looking at mid-May to beginning of June, if I'm taking the delivery estimate at face value. Deliveries are going to balloon as details on the tax credit become less and less opaque. If you want the car soon-ish and it makes sense financially (used...
Does anyone think Ford / VW will actually update these over-the-air in a fashion like Tesla? I don't know if I'd count on that, but maybe I'm wrong. My latest experience with another OEM was owning a 2020 BMW X3 (which admittedly is not an EV being compared to here). OTA updates were rolled out...
Hey all, I’m joining the fun waiting process and added my order to the google sheet. I ordered 3/19 originally thinking I’d wait for a federal tax credit to become available, but decided against that when I got awesome trade in quotes on my current car.
I completed my profile 3/30, and my...
