My ED had been steady for weeks at 11/8 to 11/28, this morning it's now 11/24 to 12/22, NOT happy.

🤞 that it's real this time, mine now also saying August. We all understand delays due to parts shortages, but issuing and retracting EDD's continually is super annoying.

Waiting sucks, and I'm a very impatient person, but I've found it's always worth the wait if it's truly the car you want. The parts shortage is world wide so you may not have great luck switching to another manufacturer anyway.

An 08 650 is my current car, I am having very mixed feelings parting with it, I really hope I don't regret it.

Does the car not have the latest Bluetooth (5.0)? That has a bandwidth of up to 2 Mbps which is way more than enough for audiophile quality sound, assuming that your phone is also BT 5.0.

I don't mind if the 19s are summer tires as I'll probably switch to snows in the winter regardless, the thing I do worry about is possibly having to pick the car up late in the year with summer tires after the weather has turned cold.

I didn't misunderstand, I shouldn't have stated "delivery date", I meant delivery estimate, I've had no estimate at all since ordering on 4/4, until today ironically, now it says August for the first time, which I know is meaningless until they give you a VIN and firm delivery date range...

Who says the refresh MS will have matrix headlights? Aren't they illegal in the US? It's the tail lights I dislike the most though, they just look so cheap and boring c/w premium brands like BMW, MB, Audi.

The MS is a beautiful car, I just wish Tesla spent a little more time on the headlight/ tail light design, to me they look bland and cheap, especially the tail lights.

I'm hoping that with the yoke steering wheel it works the way my BMW does, at low speed like in a parking lot the front wheels turn to a greater degree than when you're driving at highway speeds when it tightens up.

I ordered and cancelled a Taycan 4S because of the 12V battery drain issue, I don't mind waiting for the refreshed MS as long as they fix any problems/bugs that may currently exist.

I ordered my MS LR in early April, would be very happy to see people who ordered before me taking delivery of theirs.

Why? There were no qualifiers added to the federal tax credit for EVs, they didn't even have to be US made. And the budget has to be passed this year although we don't know at what time the rebate part would go into effect.

My first post here, and I know this will definitely be a minority opinion, but with a potential $10,000 federal rebate at time of sale in the federal budget for US made BEVs I don't mind the delay with the S. I ordered a Model S LR a few weeks ago, just before the proposed rebate was announced.
