Quick update: Direct Line claims assessor watched the video and has waived the excess and I can get the car repaired at no cost to me. The other party still hasn't responded to his /her insurance company - but I think when they get a bill from DL they'll soon chase them!

Can't believe I've had my car less than 3 weeks and some F&&kwit decides to reverse into it and drive off - having watched the whole coverage it looks deliberate as he (or she) drove past and then drove back round twice - then reversed at quite some speed.

How long does it take for the V5 to arrive in the post after delivery?

I got an email with an edoc pdf to sign which I did after I took delivery, then a couple of hours later I got another email that said Accept Delivery of Your Model 3 - I had to go into the account and accept and then my mobile app started working

Couldn't fault it. Got a text with a tracking link when the van left Southampton, I knew their timings were about 25 minutes out but I could literally see it getting closer on the tracking map and when I saw it enter my road I went outside :) The guy was very careful offloading it, everything good

Finally got the text that the driver is on his way, should be arriving at my house in an hour! Although looking at the tracking link he hasn't left Southampton yet!

I got nowhere with emails, call the service delivery number. 01628 450660 option 4, took several calls but finally got it sorted

I had my VIN number beforehand, it could be that they had a car that wasn't reserved but met your spec. I decided I preferred to go to Southampton as the alternative was Brent Cross and I didn't fancy driving it back from Wembley!

If the insurance company can't recognise the registration number how can I insure the car prior to picking it up? Or can I only insure it on delivery day?

I had the same thing, cheaper by £250 when I went through the Tesla site!
