No. The Tesla app is useless until you take delivery of the car.

Yep.. just a normal personal check :) I think they run the numbers directly at the dealership when you give it to them, to verify it is good and the money is there.

Forgot who was asking, but confirmed that YES they accept personal checks on delivery. My SA confirmed I can bring it with me when I go to pick up the vehicle.

Did everyone else get the "reply Cannot take order" text message from Tesla before you got your VIN? How long after the text did you receive a VIN? I got the text 2 days ago.

FWIW, mine expired over the weekend. I had put 500 miles on it since last time. Submitted the new mileage and the offer did not change.

I actually think having "Weeks - Weeks" as an estimate is a good sign. Mine says 7-11 Weeks from Order Placed Date, but I am being told (and got a text) that my car will be delivered next week. Just my theory, but people with June 15 - June 30 for example may have to wait longer than those...

The text was out of the blue for me. I hope you get yours soon! The excitement is real. This is my first Tesla and I have a feeling I will be a Tesla boy for the rest of my life. Next week seems so far away, but I'll make it!

From my understanding they are disabling the radar in all Teslas, so it doesn't really matter if yours has one or not.

This is pasted from the order agreement: You agree to schedule and take delivery of your Vehicle within three (3) days of this date. If you do not respond to our no1fica1on or are unable to take delivery within the specified period, your Vehicle may be made available for sale to other customers.

This is a great question but I do not know the answer. It would seem unfair to say 3 days when the SC is closed for 2 of those days. I'd call them and ask this question. Mine is open on the weekend so I don't have this concern.

You unfortunately only have 3 days once a VIN is assigned to pick up the car, otherwise it will be given to someone else. If the SC is open on Saturday/Sunday, they will do deliveries then as well.

No, it stayed the exact same.

Mine expired yesterday. All I had to do was fill in the current odometer reading and the offer was back in about 12 hours. No big deal at all.

It's fine. They only require delivery before you drive the car off the lot. Most people just upload their current insurance then replace it when they get the VIN. Either way, it doesn't impact when you'll get your car. Just make sure you have it corrected before going to pick up your car :)

So strange we are getting different responses. My SA said to expect delivery 2-3 weeks from Monday, which is May 31- June 7. I'm hopeful that is true but I am realistically expecting mid to late June instead so I am not let down. If what he says IS true, and the average VIN to delivery date...
