I am the guy discussed who did the retrofit. Service (mobile and over the phone) refused to update my gw config to tell the car a radar was installed. So, a little hacking is required. But it’s surely possible (and a great improvement to AP)

No, if its coded out of the neural nets there's not much anyone can do about that. But personally I believe they wont ever be turning off radar entirely - the sensor has merit in the safety suite. For now it is very much used and greatly improves performance in my experience.

There is a script on the car designed for this purpose Perhaps your gateway config does not match the modules it is trying to deploy to. I’d advise checking your gtw config and attempting to update the gtw (unless it’s critical to your root)
