That’s exactly what I’m doing lol. Everything is done on my end and I pickup tomorrow but I keep checking to make sure my delivery time doesn’t change! Haha

Possibly but I would be scared that if I had a good rate locked in and I switched to Cash just to get a VIN quicker then switch back to finance after I got the VIN I wouldn’t get the same rate.

I just saw someone in DFW area who ordered 07/15 got a VIN…..which is crazy but the only difference is they ordered MSM color and I believe that color Isn’t as popular so they can produce those quicker.

For all my DFW people, I was able to talk to someone at a store about early June orders not having a VIN yet but our EDD has tightened and only increasing by one day kind of pattern. He said “we expect early June orders to get VINs early august and delivery mid-end of august!” My EDD is...

Patterns show when the dates get shorter/tighter is when a VIN is incoming. That is based off of patterns so it looks like a good sign but we all know Tesla lol

Are you shocked that no one knows anything? I've come to realize that any and all information regarding EDDs from SAs are smoke screens, they don't know anything. I have actually got more information here and on Reddit then any SA unless I knew the SA personally.

Yea that’s what I was thinking but I asked a handful of reps(over chat/phone and in store) and all said no it won’t make a difference…I’m standing here like “ArE YoU SuRe!?!?” Haha

To be honest, i'm glad I don't have an SA(at least mine hasn't reached out since 06/09). There are very few SAs that really care about there customers orders where most don't care at all and say "Check your order page for your EDD". I've been getting pretty good answers at Tesla store local near me.

Yea, I told him I ordered beginning of June and I haven't had any communication with a SA other than the ones at the stores and he said "yea I'm sure your in a long queue of a SA or your assigned SA quit and your order hasn't been assigned yet since we are so backlogged.."

Here's something interesting..well maybe not lol but I have a good friend who is a SA here in DFW(in Texas) and he said SA's are dropping like flies and all the orders are piling up on other SA's and even some SAs don't receive orders there strictly working for chat and calls from Tesla customer...

Same thing here but I ordered on the 9th so my range is 08/09-08/29. It’s very tough knowing absolutely nothing but I will say this range means absolutely nothing. Good luck to you but we’re almost there my friend.

It depends. If you owe a larger amount on your trade in and they have to verify again then yes it will move your date out.
