Long Island could be viable, since I travel to NYC frequent enough. Biggest worry would be leaving car there for a while, which would be no better in Maine. Will weigh options after hearing from insurance and report back here for anyone finding this thread in the future.

Ran over a curb today and messed up my rocker panel as well as curbing the rear driver side tire. Tesla body shop wants 13k and will take forever to get it replaced (dealing with insurance, wait for parts then 2-3 weeks in the shop). Could this just be painted over and live with the dent? Or...

I believe so but that issue has stopped anyways. Sentry mode is very reliable now, both turning on and off when it is supposed to!

It did for me as well, working nicely in parking lots etc. However, it does not turn off at home anymore. It was actually doing that while it was "broken."

Pretty sure this requires FSD (the $10k addition). But if you have it yeah, just hit the turn signal and it changes lanes. With autosteer you have to use the wheel to change lanes, and it disengages autosteer
