Things move incredibly fast…they sent it to the Serramonte Delivery Center, which is actually more convenient than Fremont. Picking up this afternoon!

And just to show how dates and information change all the time, I just got a text with: “we look forward to delivering your Model Y. Great news! Your Model Y is onsite and ready for delivery this week!” I replied with “I can be there in 30” 😁

An update for those with Fremont deliveries, at least. Got my VIN assigned two days ago and talked to an SA today asking “dude, where’s my car?” and he claims it’s “leaving the factory”. I got the impression, from stories here, you could get assigned a VIN before or as a car is being built...

No communication...just happened to check the website (like my dozens of checks a day "just happen"). Called a random SA and he said my car just came out of the factory, so waiting for them to reach out and enable the "Review Agreements" button...

This is just one story but a friend of mine had a kitchen disaster and has been rebuilding it for most of a year. Between flooring, appliances, and general installation hiccups, they are just now with a usable kitchen. Of course, much of that pain could have been avoided by going with whatever...

My EDD slipped from July 12-30 to July 14-Aug 3 this morning. No big surprise (as no VIN, communication, anything), but hoping reports of early May orders closing in on dates is a real thing. Your delivery text at least implies they are still moving cars here (even if slowly).

Yeah, same boat - no button, text or any communication whatsoever, honestly. I do assume it will all get pushed out yet again. I'm due for another September EDD at this point.

Tesla has been messing up and letting the start of my EDD get within a week (a first that I remember, anyway)! EDD: July 14 - August 03 - must...not...let...my...hopes...go...up... :oops:

Thanks for that. Your summary fit the gut feel I’ve been getting. The “no clue” seems to be the constant. And, with a refresh of my order page, I’m now July 4-24! Did this dance a week plus ago (July -> Sep -> July -> Sep). For some reason it makes me more comfortable to see my own dates...

Does history say CA will continue to get orders filled in July? Or do they really start shipping cars out to Europe and such and let us September EDD folks sit another 3 months? I don’t understand the economics of it all. Or, in other words, I don’t understand what motivates Tesla to fill...

Almost the exact same for me…July 3-23 EDD, same config, 5/11 profile complete. Every day I expect things to push out, but continue to hope it comes in. Exhausting. Might just need to hide from all things Tesla for sanity and, eventually, randomly, be pleasantly surprised.
