I've read through as many threads as I could find about switching out the default set of wheels from the MYP for smaller diameter wheels and I keep getting caught on the lower load ratings for 18" wheels, with some exceptions, such as the MW03s. Many people here have opted for 750kg...
For those in British Columbia (I'm also willing to drive down to WA), I'm looking for Gemini wheels:
- I don't need tires, but I wouldn't say no to them if they're good quality
- I do need TPMS, but I can buy them myself if necessary
- I don't need covers as I intend to run them naked
Thanks for your report, I'm thinking about these. Did you have any concerns about the lower load limit on the wheels? Did you have any problems with tire shops unwilling to mount the tires?
Yes, at least for Tesla's Used Inventory, it's clear. Here's one example with just "Basic Autopilot"
