Perhaps there is a hardware issue with the controller. Mine crashes regularly and I’m using the older Xbox controller. Will try with a PS5 controller when I get a chance.

For me, the only way the math comes close to adding up is if ALL events were treated as 3 hour even if they were really only 2 hours long. It would be so much easier if they just said this upfront and made the incentive based on total power discharged instead of ‘avg kw over the duration of event’.

Same exact issue - had to replace facia trim just like yours that the wind blew off in the storm today and the contractor was shocked. It was pretty cloudy which makes me really wonder what the heck is going on. I’m going to call Tesla after the holiday weekend.

If it makes you feel any better, it’s completely unusable. I was worried I only had the 8 GB video card the before the update this week and now I could care less.

Yes, it’s in the Software section but all it says is ‘AMD Ryzen’. I could be wrong but I thought all the refreshed S and X models have the AMD Ryzen.

Good point, I didn’t think of that - you’re right, it was probably a 3 hr event. Now you got me thinking many of the events last week were also 3 hrs long and we just thought they were 2 hrs. I really wish Eversource or Tesla had more transparency on these events via email at least.

Yup - good news , looks like the big is fixed as mine are finally discharging at 10 kW (2X Powerwalls).

Shockingly I just got a response back from Tesla support that Tesla is aware of the issue and expects a fix to be deployed on their end by EOB tomorrow. I’ll share more details as I get them.

It’s also possible this is an issue on Tesla’s end so I opened a ticket with them but who know how quickly Tesla or Eversource will get back to me…

Did it take a while after you first got the car before getting a new update? I wonder if there’s some sort of logic that keeps the car on the current version for X amount of days before enabling a software update post delivery.
