Canadian Superchargers now charge per kWh

I agree; however per minute pricing needs to be tiered (as Tesla does or did until recently) and not the way Electrify Canada does it where you get charged for the 1-350 kW tier (CAD $ 0.57/min) for the whole charging session if the car started charging at >90kW if only for a few seconds and the...

Canadian Superchargers now charge per kWh

I think Electrify Canada EV charging rates are a scam essentially - I tried them once but will not use them again - connected at 91 kW for literally less than 3 sec and then charging dropped to 40-60 kW - and they charged for the 1-350 kW rate ($0.57 per min) as it started at over 90 kW. Avoid...

    Connectivity from Canada to USA

If you have premium connectivity, you don't have to do anything more. In general, it should connect to US data when you cross the border from Canada. However, on my last 2 trips recently, Tesla failed to connect for ~30 min and 20 min - and I had no data (traffic, routing, Spotify, etc.) while...

New 2.4c/kw Ultra low rate 11pm to 7am for Ontario

Agree with ewoodrick and mounties99. The very high peak rate from 4-9pm, in general, offsets any savings on the overnight rate. I too decided to change to Tier rates with London Hydro rather than take up the new low overnight rate plan.

Model Y creaking noise from wheels

Yup, from the wheel covers. Had mine fixed at Tesla centre last year - they cut little tabs off the inside of the covers. Takes about half hour or so. Annoying though.

    18” wheels on model Y

I have been using 235/55 R18 on my 2022 MY LR for snow tires over the last few months in Canada. Noticed a huge improvement in ride quality compared with the standard 255/45 R19 that came with the car. I am seriously considering and looking at options a change from 19 inch to 18 inch tires and...

    Sudden increase in vampire drain?

I am having issues with battery drain at home while parked inside garage. Never been an issue before - LR MY is 1 year old. Seeing 3-5% battery loss per day while previously (until a few days ago) had ~1% loss per 1-2 days. All stuff including sentry mode is off. Not sure what is happening.

    CCS Adapter - ?

Just tried the discount code SHOWOFF and it applies the discount on the first page but removes it on the next shipping / payment page saying that this is not available to you....How did you get it to work?

    TPMS sensors

Thank you so much for all your helpful answers. Sounds like we can live without the sensors on the winter wheels/tires.

    TPMS sensors

I have recently joined the forum. I have learnt a lot from all of you over the past few months. I am about to take delivery of MY LR and will soon be getting winter tires & wheels installed. Had a question re TPMS sensors - are these absolutely required / useful to have or can one manage...
