You should get a VIN when it closes within ~7 days

I had something similar but my end date stayed the same. Once I got within 7 days, I got a VIN. My car is still not here though, scheduled for Aug 8-14.

Once mine got within 7 days, I got a VIN. I think this is a good sign for you as long as the end date isn't sliding too

I don't think we can use the word guaranteed when talking about Tesla or the SA.

You're better off having a vin than a date. The dates mean nothing!

I got a call today from Fremont asking if I had any questions regarding my order. I asked about the hold on cars and they said they have had some held back but there wasn't any sort of announcement regarding the holds about all cars.

Initial date was October, changed wheels to 21' then blank and then back to October. Two days ago it went blank again. Hopefully a good sign
