I installed the Motrobe lights from Amazon was very apprehensive when I installed. Have to say they turned out great so far. Ordered for back doors too and am holding on to the OEM lights in the car, just in case the Motrobe ones fail on me.

Definitely faster entering freeway ramps. Definitely faster 0-60 range. You sort of get used to it and rely on what it can do. Without AB, MYLR is not slow by any stretch of imagination though. I love the fact that Tesla allows a refund first time within 48 hours - try it out. A nice Christmas 🎁 ?

My Model Y started having intermittent creaking noises in the passenger dashboard area, behind the screen. I’ve not been able to completely eliminate them but if your steering wheel is in the highest position, I believe it presses against the white/wood trim. Something you need to be careful...

My temp plate was not double sided when I took it off today. I also did not have a second temp one in trunk. Having said that, the paperwork from Tesla appeared out of the blue for me without any email or notification so I’m sure it must be around the corner for those waiting still...

Just got the paperwork from Tesla. Seemed like 4-5 pages; headed out and will take a closer look later. Wish Tesla starts sending some sort of a tracking number or at least an email to relieve anxiety of existing temp tags.

Went ahead with service appointment as recommended by SA. They checked and determined it was within the tolerance levels set by Tesla but they could try to make it better. About 75% sure it’ll get better but a chance that it may get worse elsewhere cause they’ll have to align at multiple places...

Rear hatch has uneven left and right gaps. Is it worth raising a service ticket to get it aligned (wondering if they can even fix it) or this is commonplace. Thoughts?

I may have gotten lucky but I was approved at 2.29% from Wells Fargo. I sent that document to DCU which had 5-6 pages with rate and Wells Fargo mentioned. They sent me a DOCUSIGN with 1.24% for 65 months to sign. I sent that to rate match and they changed my rate to 1.24% for 72 months. Hope...

Delivery was scheduled for 9/20. Got a surprise call this morning if I’d be interested in picking it up early. I was offered to pick it up at 2 pm and did so. Everything so far looks amazing. Wife’s birthday on Sunday so have to resist spending too much time playing with it over the weekend 😉

Tesla matched at 1.24% at 72 months and updated the account - that was surprisingly quick 👍

Yes, I was. They said this Supercharger station is about half a mile from SC.

They said the SC is literally full so can have me take delivery at a close-by supercharger. Works for me. I also got the 1.24% @65 months DCU offer and have sent it to rate match to see if they’d match it at 72 or 60 months. Fingers crossed- I was told I’ll have a decsion by Friday a most.

Given a choice, I would’ve preferred SC pick up but no option was given. Our cars have to be on the same truck. I was told mine is reaching DFW by 19th afternoon so vey unlikely for this delivery date to be any sooner.

I have the exact same date/time slot. This was the only option provided. It is a home delivery for me too. I paid through Plaid this morning. DCU is taking their own sweet time. If they come back with a favorable rate and send me something in a mail, I plan to use it for a rate match attempt.

Can you share the contact of the electrician you used? Also, why would you remove the GFCI breaker after inspection - the whole idea is to stay in the clear, should you have to file for a claim.

Called the 888 number and was updated that the vehicle delivery is going to be 19th most likely. Text, email etc will follow once they are sure this is the exact date.

Thanks - given that you are a week ahead of us, what are the next steps? Should I call my Farmers insurance and get this vin added (Starting edd start date?) or call sa and ask for a firm delivery date before adding insurance. I will most likely skip dcu as is too much of a hassle.
