Finally woke up to the vision agreement and a VIN! EDD is Aug 30th - Sept 1st. So anybody know what to expect going forward? Haven't received documents or been contacted to set up delivery.

You can try messaging your SA to add it, alternatively I've also heard of people successfully adding it on the day they pick up their car. As always YMMV.

From what I understand cars from the China factory have a different battery composition/chemistry, and assuming those cars in question are out of Giga Shanghai that could be one of the reasons for the difference.

not a guarantee but people seem to be getting VINs when your delivery estimate is 10 days away or so.

Just saw something about this recently, if I remember correctly, when the tail end of EDD range gets to about 10 days you should be looking at a VIN imminently.

6/17 order, same thing here. I had 9-13 weeks at order so I'm still well within that, but currently in EDD limbo. FWIW I asked my SA about it and he said "You will see an estimated delivery date appear back again soon, as we get closer to your delivery." Plus as far as I can tell California...
